Wonderfully located hotel with nice spirit of it’s history from 9013

Wonderfull location, super cool beach path for morning running, beautifull building.

Cons:

The room (with own kitchen) was spacy and clean, a bit worn out though.

Best place to stay in Vancouver
Pros:

A lovely large room for our family to be able to relax in. Large clean bathroom. We enjoyed the opportunity to open the windows and have a sea breeze flow through the room. Amazing location with beautiful water views. Staff were excellent - really helpful when we needed somewhere to store our bags before our late night flight. If we go to Vancouver again we will definitely be staying at the Sylvia hotel.

The promise didn’t meet expectations

Location opposite the beach and in quiet location

Cons:

The cobwebs hanging from the ceiling, ripped shower curtain and obvious sag in the mattress as soon as I arrived. Arriving off an international flight I wouldn’t have chosen this place if I had known live music was on until 10pm

Lovely old fashioned place with a lot of Charme
Pros:

The staff were pleasant, the hotel is right by the English bay where we enjoyed a beautiful sun set. We only stayed 1 night on our way to Whistler.
