Pros:

Ich komme hier gerne für 1-2 Nächte zum Ende meiner Kanadareisen/ Vancouver-Aufenthalte her. Herrliche Lage am Strand, Stanleypark und vieles mehr. Ein historisches Gebäude mit allem was fein ist.

Disappointing for a single traveler
Pros:

As a woman traveling alone, I had looked forward to having breakfast where I could see the ocean. When I went to have breakfast, the server said I could not sit in that area because the table were for three and she could not sit a single person there.. This was very disappointing to me. frequent. I very much like the location so near to the ocean.

Und hat hier einfach alles gefallen. Das Personal war großartig, immer sehr freundlich und professionell, sowohl im Hotel als auch im Restaurant.
Das Hotel, die Zimmer sowie Restaurant/Bar hatten viel Charme und man hat sich direkt wohlgefühlt. Die Zimmer waren sauber und die Betten sehr bequem.
Wir haben dreimal im Restaurant gegessen und waren jedes Mal mehr als begeistert.
Wenn wir wieder nach Vancouver reisen, werden wir definitiv noch einmal kommen.
Parkplätze waren ausreichend vorhanden und groß.

The Sylvia is an old establishment, a little old fashioned, yet perfectly comfortable & welcoming like coming home.
Pros:

Location is perfect for my needs. It is walking distance from the beach, business I needed to conduct & local shops & activities. The restaurant & bar are excellent. I had one of the best meals (breakfast) I've had anywhere in a long while.

Cons:

It is a little scruffy, yet homey.

Wonderful stay
Pros:

We loved everything about the Sylvia hotel! The location, the charm, the amazing staff, the great restaurant. We were upgraded to an incredible corner room on the 5th floor, we were traveling with friends so the extra space was great for gathering.
We’d never stay any where else in Vancouver BC!

Hotel situat a primera línia de platja, antic i amb molt de caràcter. Parking amb places grans.
Bany nou molt maco

Cons:

Wifi fluixet, llit petit (queen), esperàvem un llit més gran per la importància de l'hotel.
Mobles vells, escriptori amb furats de corcs !!
Finestres no insonoritzades, se sentia el xivarri dels bars a la nit
