Very disappointing experience

I stayed at this hotel with my family and was extremely disappointed. There was no proper air conditioning, either in our room or in the lobby. The dining room had long queues for food, dirty plates and dirty floors.

These are basic standards that any hotel should provide. Unfortunately, based on our experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing.

Restaurant/canteen: It was constantly overcrowded, with long queues, a lack of available tables, and dishes that were often not properly clean. The food was average, and even extra drinking water had to be paid for.

Rooms & service: The air conditioning in the rooms was poor, and the reception staff were not helpful in resolving problems when they were reported.

Overall, the hotel fell well below the standard we expected. I would not recommend it and would advise others to consider alternative accommodation, especially if travelling from Europe and expecting typical European hotel standards.

We loved our stay at Club Kantaoui. It does get very busy and some people are very rude take lots of food, but the hotel understand this and couldn’t do enough to accommodate us. The main food hall is manic due to the other guests but the hotel have set up other free options for guests with red wristbands (all inclusive) and they are perfect, there’s a separate breakfast on offer in the al a carte restaurant and the beach restaurant serves at lunch and dinner (you have to book dinner through guest relations). Maher Khlifi guest relations cannot do more for you. He checks in everyday and there’s never a problem, only solutions. We throughly enjoyed our stay here, the accommodation is clean and comfortable and the grounds are beautiful and so well kept. The location is great, you have the Hard Rock Cafe just outside the hotel and some great shops just a short walk away. Great value for money, we will definitely be back.

We have only been back for a couple of days and can not wait to go back again. This is one of the best holidays we have been on. The hotel is clean and beautiful the staff are so welcoming and friendly and as 2 females alone we felt safe. The manager Taysair went above and beyond to help with anything we needed. Maher from the spa who sorted the bookings for catering was great and booked as in for a relaxing full body massage at only £25pp. The life guards especially Aziz was so friendly and great with the kids at the pool. Yasine the waiter at the Al a cart restaurant would go out of his way to make sure you had a great time. If you don't want it so busy would recommend going in June or September, however we went in August and still had a fantastic time.

the location was clean and the cleaners were always around cleaning and the staff were really really helpful and supportive i would like to mention the shift manager for the lunch and breakfest and dinner really helpful getting us drinks and i want to mention a bril worker at the bar near the pool firas was really helpful before we left and was with us for the whole 10 days and i would like to mention captain jack who does the trips i would suggest saying hello and speaking to him on the way i would say good things about the guests in the restraunt but many of them get more then they need to and make messes and take most of the choises but on sundays it much much calmer outside and inside and always play darts at 4pm with the animation team the animation team are bril and interract with the guests alot as i saw 2 of the animation team members playing uno with 2 guests which was great so would suggest this to anyone

Where do I start just com home from a wonderful 10 day stay very clean hotel and all immensities plenty of choice for bars to drink at and pool tables from both floors at reception areas.we always knew what was going on from day to day as this was put on a notice board
would like to thank Rabek from reception for locating the taxi driver and returning my phone the hotel porters really friendly and courteous always happy to help.
Would like to thank the cleaner who made sure that we had clean towels and bedding nothing was to much and always cleaned our room daily.
the shift manager at the restaurant always made sure that my partner who had mobility problems had a table at meal times and brought us our drinks. meal times were hectic and the guest were very rude but all staff were very kind and helpful.
And the animation team fantastic made the day go smoothly from the water activities and mini games for all ages and all the shows my family really enjoyed every single moment.
The restaurant staff at the beach bar always had a smile on there face amazing food and amazing service.
Your evening time waiters would like to thank Faris especially for looking after us for the whole time we were there.
would like to thank Captain Jack for the help organizing our trips always happy to help my partner when she was struggling and keeping her company while I was in the pool with my son
My overall experience from this hotel is 10 out of 10 I am already looking at booking for next yr already thank you so much to all your hard working staff always happy to go the extra mile.
And lastly would like to thank the photographer from the hotel for all the lovely photos that were taken for us.
this hotel is family friendly and I would recommend this to all my friends and family.

Superb experience. Hotel was brilliant with lots going on.
Meheir was looking after us everyday and extremely helpful the entire time.
Reidah was working hard behind the bar every evening and was always making sure our group was able to sit together and was never without a drink!
