Pros:

The rooms are small but the space is used well. The interior is dated but clean. The neighbourhood is nice with a good choice of restaurants and bars.
The hotel’s staff was very friendly and helpful advising on close by gyms and even sharing their tips on the best beach restaurants close to Amsterdam.

Very dated hotel, only worth one star in my option.
Pros:

The property is in a good location with easy access to buses and trams.

Cons:

It’s very dated, with peeling wallpaper, holes in the walls and an unsafe glass shelf. The carpet was awful, I kept my shoes on until I went to bed! I asked for a room on an upper floor after reading reviews that the staircase was noisy at night, but I didn’t expect to be in Narnia!

Bom custo benefício
Pros:

Bom custo-benefício. O quarto era grande e bem aconchegante. O banheiro era muito bom também. Localização do hotel excelente, a 5 minutos de caminhada do ponto do tram ou 20 minutos de caminhada para o museu do Van Gogh/Rijskmuseum/Museumplein. Muito perto de uma locadora de bicicletas, o que ajuda na logística. Equipe muito atenciosa e proativa.

Cons:

Toda vez que eu entrava no quarto sentia um forte cheiro de cigarro. As paredes do quarto estavam um pouco sujas (manchadas), o que não é tão agradável. A escada para os quartos é a típica de Amsterdam (muito inclinada), e sem elevador, o que pode ser um problema para aqueles com mobilidade reduzida. Recepção não é 24 horas, mas não sei se é costume da região não ser 24 horas. De qualquer maneira, acho ruim. Certas demandas podem ficar inatendidas.

Would definitely stay here again, especially in room 2.
Pros:

The bed was very comfortable, the bathroom spacious. Our room (2) had access to an outdoor area which was wonderful! The hotel management was very accommodating when I told them my requests for a ground-floor room (because there's no elevator).

Cons:

The carpet was a little drab and old.

Pros:

The staff was very helpful and nice , they helped in whatever they could

Cons:

The stairs are VERY steep almost impossible to lift a luggage by yourself
There was mold above the wardrobe, the towels were dirt with holes , the floor was dirty, the mattress was so soft you felt the iron bed frame underneath and the shower curtain was filled with mildew
And the worst part was the smell , the bathroom smelt like sewage
do not recommend this place at all specially with those prices

Pros:

Location is great and the staff friendly. Bed is comfortable.

Cons:

There were stains on bedsheets, lipstick on one of the glasses, the water pressure is non-existent in the shower, and what looks like p**p on the balcony. That's probably why it was the cheapest option in town.
