Overall we had a great time, but I think you really need to look at the Wifi situation
Pros:

The staff in reception and also up at the cafe and bar were very friendly and great service and we enjoyed going up in the afternoon for pizza and some drinks in happy hour.

Cons:

The Wifi was very poor, there was only the 5 basic channels on the TV, and Channel 9 you could not even watch as the reception wasn't very good. So we thought we would chromecast so we could watch Netflix but was unable to connect to the wifi. In this era something as simple as good wifi is expected, especially paying nearly $500 per night.
The outside areas were very unkept, the photos showed a lush green outdoor area and when we got there it was so dry, but all the outdoor furniture was dirty and dusty so unusable and the patio outside was full of weeds.

Great weekend away in picturesque surroundings
Pros:

Location was great for the D’vine wine festival

Cons:

It’s a great place but rooms could do with an update. Not complaining as was great value and perfect for a short stay

We slept well on comfortable beds.
Pros:

Breakfast was ok. No choices were given, despite what was advertised

Cons:

We booked a room for three as I was travelling with my elderly parents. However there were only cups, glasses etc for two.
There was no bench or table of any sort so we had to book the kettle on the floor.

Good as I expected particularly for the price.
Pros:

The room was comfortable with a good bed, the room was clean and tidy. I ate dinner at the onsite restaurant which was excellent. The staff were friendly and relaxed. Also has some nice views and is a quiet and peaceful location

Cons:

Breakfast didn't open until 8am which I thought was a bit late and even though I had the full breakfast they told me that was the poached eggs, bacon, tomato, sausages and mushrooms and toast. I was fairly happy with thte choice but not sure if I could have changed it if I didn't like it. But I think the main restaurant was undergoing a renovation so maybe that's why the choice was limited.

Average place, comfy beds
Pros:

There was perisitent loud noise coming from the walls and there was no way to contact the front desk to complain. There was not even a microwave in the room to heat up food. The location is isolated and the restaurant was closed and the bar only open till 9pm with a very limited menu so we had to drive into town to get food
receptionist was lovely but I would not stay there again. Its dated and noisy. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable, but I didn't sleep because of the noise

Cons:

Room was weirdly noisy and we could not find the source and we had no way to reach the front desk to complain. Isolated location and restaurant was closed
