The hotel was comfortable, pleasant staff all around a great value

The hotel is at an airport. It was very quiet, though the rooms were nice and spacious the amenities in the hotel, including the restaurant we’re very good and the staff was extremely pleasant to deal with and very helpful.

Unclean room
Pros:

Location is great and the staff at reception were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Walking into the room it looked ok very dated but ok, however there was cobwebs all around the bottom of the bed. The curtains and net curtains had 3 quite large spiders hanging from them. The TV didn't work. I then went to make myself a coffee and both cups were disgusting they had old coffee/tea rings around near the bottom of both cups clearly not washed properly. It was very disappointing at €209 I expected at least to have a clean room and a working TV neither was the case sadly.

Dirty pillowcase, visible dust on everything in the room, room didn’t feel clean or fresh. Bar charging €20 for a margarita pizza!

Pros:

Beds really comfy and literally a stones throw to the airport. Staff lovely
Excellent breakfast. Amazing scrambled egg brown bread and salmon.

Good, would return if staying in the area but might ask to see [and sniff] assigned room first!

Proximity to airport excellent. Staff friendly, food /service good.

Cons:

Our room had a very unpleasant smell. Staff brought air freshener 2x and it improved some. If we have been staying more than 1 night, I would have requested a room change.
For female travelers: more space for cosmetics [small table or cart would do[] and better lighting for make up would be a big improvement. Why don't designers have women test the bathroom designs?
