Beautiful Palace and amazing place to stay a little away from the crazy tourist places but accessible if you want to walk there! Friendly people really wonderful views from the terrace by the grand canal and from the balcony!!!
Great Place!!
staff accommodating requests for room service dinner at night when the dinner service was booked. Dinner itself was very delicious! They also prepared breakfast meal package for when we could not enjoy breakfast on our last day due to needing to catch the train.
Price for the room was quite steep, breakfast options could be expanded
Venice was the last stop on our honeymoon, and we could not have stayed at a more beautiful location. Right on the Grand Canal (and conveniently close to a vaparetto station as well) , we enjoyed breakfast on the patio every morning and had a wonderful view of Venice from our room. The bathroom was stunning and the hotel itself was a great place to relax at the end of a long day. We loved Palazzo Stern!! 10/10
Incredible hotel and patio. The staff go above and beyond, the experience is out of a movie. Every detail is thought out and you feel so spoiled. The hotel organizes a free water taxi to a glass studio in Murano that gives a free tour. The experience is a MUST!
The staff is friendly & helpful. Breakfast on the terrace is very good. Good location with a vap stop a vert short walk away. Our room was very nice. The one negative is the bath tub is also the shower. Extremely high sides make it difficult to get in and out. Tub bottom and tile floor in bath make it all very slick and it felt dangerous. The tub shower brings my rating down. Otherwise all else was very good.
The location of the hotel could not be better. We were perfectly situated between the two hot tourist spots in Venice, St. Marks Piazza and Academia, both within a 15 to 20 minute walk. And there were plenty of outdoor cafes nearby that we could enjoy, especially the family-owned and operated Ristorante Oniga. However, please note that the showers are in a bathtub with very high sides requiring persons to climb over to get in and out of the shower. Not good for any mobility-challenged older person. Also note that if there is a bottle of prosecco in your room, you must drink it in your room. We wanted to have it at dinner at the hotel and the bottle was taken away from us and never returned.
Outstanding hotel palazzo. Charming room overlooking the Grand Canal. Excellent service and wonderful breakfast. Can't beat the location.
Lovely hotel, good location, great service, boat mooring right outside. Lovely room
Everything about this hotel was charming and nice. I liked the older look of the hotel with Murano glass chandeliers and huge vases everywhere. The staff at the reception were very courteous and helpful. The only thing that could use improvement was the kitchen staff and service. The location was excellent right next to the canal.
Had a wonderful stay at the hotel for our winter visit in Venice. Despite the cold weather the team made all the effort to make sure we had a marvelous stay. Happy to come back!
A great location on the Grand Canal. The hotel itself is very quiet though it is close to lots of great bars and restaurants. It’s still not far from all the key attractions. It has its own water taxi dock and is right next to a vaporetto stop (Ca Rezzonico). Dorsoduro is a bit less touristy with a lot of students. We had a delightful suite with a bedroom overlooking the Rio del Malpaga and probably the most beautiful bathroom we’ve ever had. High end toiletries. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was on the terrace overlooking the Grand Canal. We also had dinner there one night which was surprisingly good.
First time to Venice, stayed at this great, 'old world charm' hotel. Lovely, well appointed room with a view of the Grand Canal. Full Breakfast on the patio was great.
Friendly & helpful staff all around.
Easy to walk to all the main attractions close by.
Very nice hotel. Terrific location. Clean, great beds. Breakfast nothing special. Quality of front office concierge variable. Canal view not worth the extra expense. If you are elderly or not particularly agile ask for a room with a walk in shower. Tubs very difficult and dangerous to exit. Look for online deals as prices vary a lot.
Emplacement exceptionnel. Cadre plein de charme. Terrasse sur le Grand Canal pour petit-déjeuner et dîner.
Niveau de service et équipements : correct, sans plus.
Lovely breakfast, super clean and polite, friendly helpful staff.
Bathroom was a bit tired looking but functional. Other than that Nothing to complain about
