Exceptional architectural and interior details. Water taxis come right to the front door. Location is central but not crowded and travel wether walking or on vapporetos around Venice was easy. Only 10 rooms!
The interiors although beautiful were dark with little sitting space. Larger rooms might afford that - don't know.
The location was great.
It’s a 3 star hotel with 5 star expenses. They advertise “breakfast included” but it’s only for a continental breakfast. To have the normal breakfast you have to pay an additional E15 per day. The rugs are worn and torn . The shower is so small you can’t turn around. There was no window in our room. The hotel needs a complete makeover.

Staff was great, although at times it felt they may have been a bit understaffed. Loved the historic feeling of the building, it's terrace over looking the Grand Canal.
Only one thing - We needed an iron and ironing board and they said they didn't have one.

The pictures online where much much nicer and cleaner than the hotel itself. We were very disappointed in the upkeep of the hotel the rooms were dingy and in need of renovation.
Breakfast was delicious and the patio view was incredible.

Great view, great food, great staff, beautiful hotel and location.
We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Palazzo Stern. The hotel is beautiful, full of Venetian character, and exceptionally clean, but what really stood out was the service. From the moment our boat arrived at the private dock, the staff took care of everything. They were incredibly helpful with transportation, restaurant recommendations, and anything else we needed. The complimentary boat ride to Murano was also a wonderful experience. A beautiful hotel, fantastic location, and truly exceptional service. Absolutely worth it and an easy five stars.
WONDERFUL stay! Comfortable bed. Highly attentive staff who arranged tickets for Vivaldi for me. Great air conditioning too! Highly recommended!
PERFECT location just off the water taxi stop for easy transfer everywhere through Venice and to and from the airport. Very convenient location. Very happy with my stay.
