Would have been nice to see the water
La situation géographique.
Nous avons dîné au restaurant et comparativement aux autres services, la cuisine était bonne.

Difficile de trouver la réception et de s‘orienter tout court, mauvaise signalétique depuis la route et sur le site après le pont, surtout lorsque l on arrive de nuit.
Hotel vieillissant et mal entretenu, état d’usure visible partout : moquette salle et tacher dans les chambres, murs et portes repeintes mais pas réparés, fuites d eau dans les couloirs (juste devant notre porte de chambre avec un sceau pour récupérer l eau alors qu‘il y avait les 4/5 de l’hôtel non occupé pour nous attribuer une autre chambre..), agencement des chambres hors d’âge non fonctionnel y compris prises de. Ouvrant en fonctionnement aléatoire. Laundry la plus chère de nouvelle Zélande (6$ washing et 6$ drying) etc …
Pas de bouteilles d eau dans les chambres.
Au Check-in petit souci pour retrouver la fiche, un duty manager qui vient à l‘aide sans bonjour ni sourire ni rien …
Bref, „qu‘est ce qu‘on se sent bienvenus“ alors que nous étions la seule occupation du moment !
Un de nos séjours les plus chers à la nuit de nouvelle Zélande, mais clairement le pire hôtel et surtout en terme de rapport qualité prix car il ne vaut pas la moitié de son prix comparativement à d‘autres établissements où nous avons sejourné.

staff very friendly and helpful
last time when I been here was 4 years ago and the facilities looks a bit rough and the fridge at the room with nothing not water in the room. I think they have a lot space for improvement

The breakfast was really very good value for money excellent food the ground are well kept
Only minor things our tea bags weren't replaced so no green tea for the second night and no hand soap for the bathroom sink

Property is really good with amenities of hot pool & swimming pools; loved the breakfast!
Room size was quite small compared to what we paid for, no toiletries provided. The heater wasn’t working, nil kitchen utensils but not even glass or spoon were given. We paid for sea view room which could have been better given we book 2 months in advance the room had property view more than sea view.
We had a ground floor room so we were able to walk out onto the lawn and over to the little beach. Our room had just been renovated so everything was fresh and new. It was quite a long way from the dining/bar/reception area which might not suit some people but on the flipside this made for a quiet room.
We wanted to use the outdoor spa pool which was meant to be hot however it was quite tepid and in constant use by children as the swimming pool was cold. We stayed in the winter time and the pool is not heated which we knew.
We always love staying at Copthorne, our fav part would be the pool/spa and buffet breakfast 👌🏽

Would love the spa/pool area to have somewhere sheltered to sit. Had to stand in the rain while waiting for the kids in the spa
The 2 staff..Nepalese lady and the maori play on night shift..actually she was always working. They made switching rooms easy..they answered the questions so well. In fact if I could steal them I would. Celestine? Wish I could remember their names..you are so blessed with their customer services
Better selection of desserts
Peaceful hotel, beautiful views and close to Paihia. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The setting is so beautiful, I loved the delicious buffet breakfast 👍
