Great stay for our family of 6. If the pool was larger, the rating would be much higher.
Pros:

Great family suite! Roomy and comfortable rooms. The kitchen area was great and we loved the dolly chairs and ALL the storage space. Very well thought out. We liked the grassy area in the back and the patio as well. Breakfast waffles were fantastic! Very friendly employees. Beautiful building.

Cons:

The pool could be larger and more exciting for families with young kids. You have that entire back area- maybe add an outdoor pool. Or even a slide that goes from in building to out then back in. There is so much potential!
Provide basketballs for the court! Maybe umbrellas for the tables when the sun hits.
Also, our check in was an hour late.

Room description incorrect on third party booking sites. Room listed as 2 beds is in fact 1 bed and a very uncomfortable pullout
Pros:

Booking was for a 2 Bed suite with photos of a bed in 2 different rooms. What we got was a one bedroom with a very uncomfortable pullout sofa in the living room. We could not change hotels as it was a very busy tourist season. The hotel staff was clear that they had no intentions in correcting the listing. When asked if the "misunderstanding" as they called it had ever happened before, they laughed and replied "all the time".

Very comfortable.
Pros:

The room was clean and felt clean. The hotel also smelt and felt clean. The bed was very comfortable. The room was well equipped

Cons:

The bathroom was a little on the dark side, only lit by the light in the back-lit mirror on the wall. This gave a nice ambient light, however the room was darkish.

Very nice rooms. We had the two queens in separate rooms, and there was a pull out couch.

Cons:

Some small holes that were patched, but nothing major. Also no fan in the bathroom

Favorite stay!
Pros:

Great central location for Badlands, Custer State Park, Mount Rushmore & Sturgis.
Nice size room with pullout bed & kitchen area. Breakfast was good and changed daily.
Wonderful staff!!

It’s a decent hotel and I have no real complaints. I would stay there again.

I didn’t love that the shower design made it impossible to not wet the floors while showering, but nothing a towel couldn’t fix.
