Perfect location, a 2 minute walk to Bowness. It is decorated to a modern, high standard and love the high ceilings. All the staff were lovely and always happy to help. Breakfast was fantastic - a large selection of food all cooked to a really good standard.
We stayed in the Lord of the Manor room - like the hotel it is decorated to a modern, high standard and has a lovely high ceiling. But compared to other similar rooms I’ve stayed in over the last 2 or 3 years (£250/night) there were a few negatives - it was quite small and dimly lit, not great for a woman trying to get made up; no air conditioning; no safe; limited storage space (okay for a night but not the 3 we spent there); very pokey bathroom.
Superb view from the back of the hotel to the mountains from the superior room.Excellent shower and lovely shampoo and shower cream.Buffet breakfast was excellent.Staff were very helpdul.A lovely drinks terrace for fine weather.
Everything was excellent
Staff were pleasant and helpful, food was very good.
Car park was a little bit small and access could have better.
It was clean, location was good, plenty of parking, good views.
Breakfast was underwhelming. If you want a full English, I guess you'd be "okay", otherwise you'd be severely disappointed. Staff were alright for the most part, but I wouldn't say the friendliest - only the cleaning staff were very friendly.
Lovely setting
Short walk down hill to town
Hotel spotless
Lovely breakfast
Fantastic view out over patio area
Breakfast started at 8am which was a bit late especially on check out day as I was driving another 400miles & could have done with leaving earlier
Excellent
Everything , its location, views
Nothing
We enjoyed a lovely stay at Craig Manor and would love to go back.
The hotel was absolutely perfect for us, some businesses just get their customer service right and this hotel definitely does! The hotel has a very relaxed atmosphere. It’s a beautiful building. Lovely restaurant with comfortable seating, gorgeous views and variety at breakfast was fab. Everywhere was spotless, the staff were all lovely, friendly and couldn’t do enough. We had a Manor room as this was a late booking and only rooms available but it was adequate with a comfortable bed, lovely bathroom with walk in shower and gorgeous toiletries. Parking is free and there are plenty of spaces. There is also an outside terrace with beautiful views where you can enjoy a drink from the bar. . We loved the hospitality goodies coffee/hot chocolate/teas/milk/cookies and even Kendal Mint Cake. The hotel is in a great position between Bowness and Windermere and there is a restaurant/pub over the road called the Beresford Restaurant which I would also highly recommend. The food and staff were lovely and they offer an early 2 course menu which was very good value.
..
The staff were so welcoming and the room was exceptional. The quality and choice of the breakfast was superb and overall we couldn't fault anything and were just sad that we weren't staying longer. Somewhere to be highly recommended and we hope to be able to return in the very near future.

The location was good within easy walking distance to Bowness and Windermere.
The hotel was very good, lovely staff, breakfast and very clean everywhere.
We stayed in a lake view room and the only problem we had was that it was a bit small with no surfaces to put anything.
