No hesitation in returning to this hotel.
Pros:

Eating area was well laid out, clean and had a great view over the terrace. Good selection of cold and hot foods, hot and cold drinks.

Cons:

I was surprised that the hotel do not offer evening meals…perfect setting to relax after daily walks.

A bit expensive at over £900 for two nights

Great location, easy access to Bowness, a really lovely refurbished older property done really well.
Pros:

Fabulous renovations to a much older property, the extended breakfast area and terrace were light, open plan and easily accessible fir the breakfast kitchen.
The bedroom was beautiful, simple but very functional furnishings, and the walk-in shower room was pristine.
Great location, 10 mins walk into Bowness

Cons:

Entrances maybe needed a bit more wow factor, a bit confusing where the reception was and which door to use.
Before we arrived we tried to book an evening supper, and didn’t realise they didn’t have a restaurant. This really wasn’t a problem once we realised how close so many restaurants/ bars were on our way into Bowness, in fact there was so many choices, I can fully appreciate why they don’t have the headache of running a restaurant, when everything else they do is so wry good.

Hotel was clean

Cons:

Staff on reception should consider going into any other profession other than hospitality. Maybe working in a police custody suite? Our room was called “lake facing”. “Car park facing might have been more apt.

an average place to stay
Pros:

The hotel location is good and it has its own parking area which is a great benefit coming with a car. Breakfast was fair.

Cons:

Well - several things. It is a bit complicate to reach your room with luggage expecially if you are locate in the second floor. no-one suggest to help with this. breakfast starts only at 08:00 and we had a room with low diagonal cieling that caused head bumps from time to time. The hotel does not have a restaurant.

Overall a beautiful place to stay and would love to return again soon.
Pros:

The decor, atmosphere, polite and friendly staff, beautiful setting. Breakfast was also very good.

Overall, not good not bad. But not that value for money
Pros:

The breakfast is great and the staff in the restaurant are great.
The view is great in the restaurant.

Cons:

Howvere, the staff in the front desk are not that polite. I don't feel welcome when I enter the hotel.
