Value for money
Pros:

We arrived late around 22 and it was a little problematic, maybe we should have told them. Entrance works with a code, but rooms require a key card. Night shift employee did his best. Plenty of parking, reasonable breakfast, good value for money. Much cheaper than on Belgian side of the border

Cons:

It's a rather old and simple hotel, fine for a quick stop. No comfort advertised, none given.

Le parking de l'hôtel. Pratique et fermé par une grille pendant la nuit

Cons:

Cet hôtel affiche trois étoiles. On se demande comment c'est possible: pas de climatisation, ni d'ascenseur. C'est un hôtel vieillot qu'on a essayé d'améliorer - avec peu de moyens et encore moins de succès: le mobilier est vraiment "cheap", tout (y compris la cage d'escalier) est moquetté comme dans les années quatre vingts - la moquette est par endroit élimée ou tachée. Les parties en bois ont été repeintes, mais cette peinture s'écaille à de nombreux endroits (fenêtre de la chambre) est sale (main courante de l'escalier) ou abîmé (chambranles). Les murs affichent une espèce de papier crépi peint. Dans ma chambre le papier peint était plus sympa, mais par endroit il commençait à se décoller. Le bon point: la literie! J'ai plusieurs fois séjourné dans des hôtels "Best Western", qui ont tous été d'un standing bien supérieur tout en affichant un nombre d'étoiles équivalent.

Je trouve regrettable de ne pas avoir de climatisation dans une chambre surtout en période de canicule, ni même une petite bouteille d’eau... Dans la première chambre, la chasse d’eau ne fonctionnait pas et, dans la seconde, il n’y avait plus de savon.
Par ailleurs, j’ai été surprise d’apprendre que le ménage n’est effectué quotidiennement que sur demande, alors qu’il s’agit, selon moi, d’un service de base attendu dans un hôtel.
