Staff were very helpful, friendly & polite. I mentioned that the chair at the desk in the room was wobbly & the plug in bathroom sink was missing...both were dealt with quickly. Location was perfect with lovely grounds you could walk round.

Dinner was good but the menu could have been more interesting
Fire Alarm at 6 am and no staff doing a roll call of guests standing in the very poorly lit area outside the front door. Luckily a false alarm but not much of an apology by the one staff member who appeared to be on site.
No hot water for a shower on the last day at 7 - 8 am
Very dismal lighting in the room - had to ask for an extra light, and even that was not enough
No comfortable lounge area for pre and post dinner drinks etc

Quality hotel, friendly staff, room was spotless and probably the best we have stayed in .
The restaurant was excellent, our gammon meals were flawless with great size portions we were both impressed with the staff , very friendly and professional , everyone made our stay one to remember.
