Horrible! Dirty!
Pros:

I WOULD NEVER, EVER RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL! NASTY, DIRTY, REPULSIVE! Our room REEKED of old Chinese food the second you opened the door. FILTHY! food all over appliances, tables, carpets, walls. I had two small children with me so THANKFULLY we bring clorox wipes everywhere with us. Torn furniture - chair and couch. Dirty sheets and comforter! We brought our comforter in we were traveling with to put on top of the bed. No one slept u der the covers. Front desk staff completely unhelpful and useless- sold out is their claim of why that is. Sincerely wish I didn't waste my points on this place. Please, stay elsewhere! You'll be so glad you did! We honestly were going to leave and drive another hour just to not stay here after seeing the condition! With two puppies and two kids under 2, everyone was just so tired of being in the car so we stayed.

Pool is seasonal so keep that in mind if it is important to your travels. Other than the pool being closed it was a perfect place to stay

Always thrilled with my stay!
Pros:

I love staying at this hotel. The suite is absolutely beautiful. Its like a small apartment with a full kitchen. It really is beautiful and comfortable. Its perfect for a couple with 1 or 2 small children. There is also an outdoor pool and hot tub. But make sure the pool is opened if you plan on using it. The staff is excellent. I travel alone alot and I feel extremely safe there.

Cons:

The only complaint I have is that when I booked the room in April it advertised that they have an outdoor pool and hot tub. When I got there it was 80 degrees out but they said the pool wasn't opened until Memorial Weekend. I just wished they had posted that when I booked the room. I live in NY but thought that because it was Virginia the pool might have been opened. It was still fine though, I was able to sit outside on the comfortable patio couches and read a book.

Disappointed
Pros:

our hallway smelled strongly of dogs, even though I didn't hear any running. We were only there for one night so we tolerated it but it definitely would not have been tolerated for additional days. When staying in such a nice hotel I would not expect to have such a scent lingering. I addressed it with the front desk at check out and wrote to guest services still no explanation a month later

My family and I went to check in at 4:30p and our room wasn’t ready. When I reproached the front desk at 5:15pm then she finally put us into a room. Thought that wasn’t right, especially when check in is at 4pm. Lastly bring your own pillows…. Not comfortable
