The house keeping staff, F &B staff and the Front office staff was very nice and friendly.
Pros:

Coming from Australia, I enjoyed the dosa, hoppers, king coconut water, the excellent service by the F&B and the chefs who were friendly and nice to us. I would definitely visit Kingsbury and recommend to all my friends and relatives my joyful stay at the Kingsbury.
The Restaurant manager Mr. Dilani Paromi was so friendly and hospitable and made we were happy and enjoying the breakfast.

Cons:

I would have liked Lankan desserts like kavum, kokis, mung kavum and Aluva.

Excellent 5 star hotel in the heart of Colombo
Pros:

Excellent hotel located in the Fort area of Colombo and quite central. Very safe. Room was great, clean and spacious. I didn't eat at the hotel so am unable to comment.

Pros:

Mixed feelings with kingsbury this year. The room and staff and everything was great however they double charged me and did not return the full amount. I lost around $50 because of this mess so not happy.

We came to attend a wedding at the Hotel, Everything was great
Cons:

Auto drivers are waiting outside and touting for other business, Such as the saying they know the best location for shopping saying the the mall is closed on Sunday and want to take us to "GEM" dealers. Another couple also told me the same experience, These Auto drivers must be stopped.

I can not recommend this hotel because of the bad conditions and service they do!
Cons:

The staffs in the front desk didn’t give me my invoice during the checkout and not answering emails or messages to solve this problem. The waiters in the restaurant have been very lazy and didn’t do a good service. They should change the manager immediately to improve the standard of this 5 star hotel!

WE WOULD RECOMMEND STAYING AT THE KINGSBURY HOTEL
Pros:

THE BUFFET BREAKFAST HAD MANY OPTIONS AND THE FOOD WAS VERY TASTY. ALL THE STAFF WERE PROFESSIONAL AND HOSPITABLE. WE DINED AT THE CHINESE RESTAURANT WITHIN THE HOTEL PREMISES WITH EXTENDED FAMILY, ALL OF THE DISHES WERE VERY TASTY AND THE PORTION SIZES WERE ADEQUATE. WE WERE GIVEN A 15% DISCOUNT FOR THE MEAL.
