Highly recommend. There is a scenery place exclusive to hotel guests free of charge called Pan Men, super quiet and very beautiful.
The right wing room might be a bit old, but it is super worthy for entire family. My family lived in left wing as well one year ago, super good.
The beds… super comfy
Location must take didi everywhere
The property is a refurbished palace so it was great staying in such heritage although Pan pacific have clearly made it a generic hotel with cliché decor that has no character or taste

Great room in an amazing location. Good restuarants, excellent room, wonderful staff.
Nothing

Beautiful hotel in a prime location. Friendly and helpful staff. Hotel greets my mum with a beautiful birthday cake 🎂😊. Thank you.
Mr He 何立军,always greets us with a warm smile. He works diligently and very friendly. Keep smile, Mr He.
Hotel itself is large and very nice. Lots of amenities like a kids play area, laundry, and access to the Panmen garden. Room was spacious and clean.
Limited wi-fi reach and for some reason, our AC wasn’t working inside the room.
Balcony (facing nice water feature) - essential in such climate to relax after a day of sightseeing with a glass of wine (although such an idea has been really promoted by the hotel’s management, see below).
Hotel next to a beautiful “scenic area” and integrated into city walls, close to the canal.
No balcony furniture provided (squeezing a chair to sit there has been a challenge). But we know al fresco living/dining/drinking isn’t the local thing.
There was nowhere to eat a meal around the hotel on Sunday afternoon. Had to go to the neighbouring hotel, where they had primarily lobsters (to be consumed in a dingy cellar, of course).
The outdoor swimming pool was to be open des from June to October but it was still being cleaned on 1-2 June. It would be very welcomed proposition, given the scorching heat.
The hotel’s garden-style scenery
The TV signal is very poor.
The hotel is very pretty, the view of the hotel is excellent
