Tranquility and peace within the bustling Marrakech city
Pros:

This hotel has everything. The morrocan themed hotel has lots of character and is positioned very well within Marrakech.
Our room was a suite and I would not change anything about it. The service from arrival to the end has been very attentive with nothing an issue. The 2 swimming pools are very peaceful to relax after visiting the souks.
We only ate breakfast at the hotel but this was filled with fresh fruit and everything you would require for breakfast, it also has an omelette and pancake station.

nice property with multiple pools, restaurants very close to a big market

Cons:

Attitude of staff: i was told i cannot enter with fruit the hotel, and when I said, "Fine, where can I throw it away?" I got a "not my problem."
The buffet meat selection is low and they look like they stayed in heat for a while (you know when salami dries out around the edges of the slice).

Der var så mange behageligheder ved hotellet! Virkelig mange.

Cons:

Forbuddet mod at få besøg på værelser. Det virker meget! Outdated.

Kun hvis vennen havde husket sit pas med kunne vedkommende indskrives i receptionen. Og i princippet betales for, dersom man kun havde booket værelset til een person. Meget omstændeligt. Og meget begrænsende.

Great Hotel!
Pros:

The hotel is beautiful and the location couldn't be better. It is inside the medina, but right at the entrance, which means you can enjoy the atmosphere without too much noise.

The staff were extremely friendly and kindly upgraded us to a spectacular suite, which made our stay even more special.

Cons:

I am not giving 10 because we had one experience that slightly spoiled our stay. We booked a private guide for the medina through the hotel. We do not regret taking the tour, as we learned many interesting things, but we spent a significant amount of time visiting shops where the guide was clearly receiving commissions and where the prices were excessively high. The whole experience made us feel pressured to buy.

What was even more disappointing is that we were told the products were high quality handmade crafts, when in reality they were not. We felt misled and, ultimately, scammed.

Therefore, if the hotel offers you a guide, I would recommend being cautious and making it clear that you are not interested in shopping stops.

Apart from this issue, everything else was excellent and we had a very enjoyable stay.
