Bed was very comfortable and door latch made us feel safe. Bathroom was clean and shower easy to use
The balcony was nice to have for viewing part of the gulf.
The air units grate was covered with dust (bunnies). I think the maintnance person needs to do a deep cleaning on the air conditioner. The toilet seemed short, like for a child or short person. The room had a door to the room next to us and we could clearly hear the people and their child talking. We put our used shower towels against the bottom of the door gap
and it helped some.
Breakfast was great. Location was close by. Room was comfortable.
The water pressure in the shower was weak. I tried calling for a wakeup call or the front desk and couldn't get through, said both numbers were invalid numbers. My wife's room card was not activated when we checked in and my wife and dog were stuck outside in the middle of the night, until she got help.
Stayed here one night prior to a cruise. Less than a five minute walk to the beach. Located across the street from Wal Mart and walking distance to several restaurants. The room and facilities were of the high quality I expect from Hampton Inn. The facilities were clean and well kept. The breakfast was well stocked and clean. The breakfast staff was very friendly. There is covered parking under the hotel and a open lot behind and in front of the hotel. There is a cost for parking that was reasonable because of its location near the beach. I will say that my large SUV would have been very hard to park in the lot under the hotel because of the columns and narrow spots. The lot behind the hotel was well lit and very convenient. The swimming pool and spa and outside shower was very well kept but is located behind the hotel so your view is the parking lot. The front desk staff seemed overworked and was very short when we checked in and out. They seemed frustrated when I asked for information about the area. When I asked for a clarification about breakfast times, they pointed to my key packet and said "It's in there." It was, but it would have been polite to just say the hours. We will return because of the good location.
The hotel & room were both extremely clean & comfortable. I have a back injury & the beds were so comfortable I still got a good night's sleep. The staff was also very friendly & made us feel welcomed.
The hotel is a little pricey.
I really loved the balconies attached to the rooms. I got two rooms one being the corner suite which was much larger than the standard size. The location was perfect for convenience to shopping, dinning and right around the corner to the west sea wall not far from the public access portion of the beach to drive and park on the sand!
The pull out sofa bed was the worst mattress ever! Springs stabbed my children all night and they finally just jumped in the king size bed with me.
Breakfast was decent.
Noises. Not suitable for family as adult noises from next door sometimes were embarassing when you are staying with kids.
The location was great !
They allow pets in the facility and soon as you walk in the entire hotel it smelled like urine. I voiced my concerns and ask for someone to respond back to me and they never did. Every floor smelled disgusting including the room where we resided. They need to remove all carpet .
