Terrible experience...
Overpriced... rude staff and arrogance that defies gravity.
The food is worse than Mc Donalds.
If you want to waste your money you better throw it out of the window.
I do not recommend it at all... terrible experience!
Absolutely not family friendly, it’s a fur coat and no knickers kind of place, looks pretty from the outside but it’s really, really grotty underneath
Absolutely disgusting what u are enabling, do not support this hotel, read more at “the ditch”. Not so respectfully, piss off .
When we need to be in and around Dublin, we stay at Powerscourt Hotel. It’s one of the most beautiful hotels in Ireland. The grounds are simply stunning with beautiful walking paths and stunning gardens. The hotel itself is wonderful. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The food in both restaurants is fantastic. The rooms are lovely, very comfortable and well appointed. And the spa and gym are both amazing too. We were able to play two rounds of golf during our stay. We played both the East and West golf courses. Again, exceptional experiences and both courses were in really great shape and no rain! Everything about this hotel is special. You will create a beautiful memory by staying here.
I had always wanted to stay here and decided to treat myself & my daughter to one night of luxury.
It did not disappoint!!
We arrived early to make the most of our experience and our room was ready so we checked in immediately and received a room upgrade which set the tone for the rest of our stay.
The room was exquisite, beautiful marble white bathroom with his & her sinks, shower was waterfall style and tbh could have stood under it all day.
We had a separate sitting room and then double hidden doors into the bedroom. The bed was divine like sleeping on clouds. We felt like Julia Robert’s when she arrived into the penthouse in pretty woman .
We visited the gardens which are so peaceful and idyllic and enjoyed coffees overlooking the main house.
Returned to spa for our facials & afternoon swim. The pool was serene and our therapists were top notch. We returned to our rooms for a nap and to get ready for our dinner in the sika restaurant.
The food at dinner was truly an experience and the service and attention to detail really made us feel special.
We took some pics on the terrace overlooking the gardens and the views are spectacular. This hotel has really embraced the natural beauty of its surroundings and it enhances everything.
It really was a treat and we were very sad having to leave the next morning.
A wonderful experience, thank you to all the amazing staff who made our stay so memorable.
We recently stayed at Powerscourt Hotel and had a truly wonderful experience from start to finish. As a wheelchair user, finding accommodation that combines luxury with genuine accessibility can be challenging, but Powerscourt exceeded all our expectations.
Our wheelchair-accessible room was spacious, beautifully designed, and thoughtfully laid out, making it both comfortable and easy to navigate. The accessible bathroom was excellent, with plenty of space and features that made our stay stress-free. It was clear that accessibility had been carefully considered without compromising on style or comfort.
The hotel itself is stunning, with breathtaking views of the Wicklow Mountains and beautifully maintained grounds. Throughout our stay, every member of staff was friendly, professional, and incredibly accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble, and we felt genuinely welcomed and valued as guests.
The dining experience was outstanding, with delicious food and attentive service. We also found the hotel’s public areas easy to access, allowing us to fully enjoy all the facilities and the beautiful surroundings.
What impressed us most was the seamless combination of luxury, accessibility, and warm hospitality. Powerscourt Hotel provided one of the most comfortable and enjoyable hotel stays we have experienced.
We would highly recommend Powerscourt Hotel to anyone seeking a luxury getaway, particularly those requiring accessible accommodation. We are already looking forward to our next visit in December which we booked while we were there!
Scenery, staff, comfort
One night felt like a few. Enjoyed the beautiful pool. Scrumptious dinner, room service breakfast and massage at the spa. So relaxing we felt we had been away for a few days.
We greatly appreciated our stay at Powercourts hotel in Enniskerry, it was an experience out of the ordinary. As a young family, it fulfilled most of the requirements of a fully comfortable and effortless stay. The hotel has most of the amenities one could wish for. We truly enjoyed the spacious rooms with the elegant interior choices with peaceful and beautiful outdoor views and surroundings. The pool and fitness area was also amazing and quiet while also being welcoming to families with children. The breakfast buffet was impressive despite that we missed some more fresh vegetable options, but this was something we missed in Ireland generally- so perhaps a cultural difference? Enniskerry is a beautiful village with a special feel and many cute cafes and restaurants, the only thing we slightly missed was a proper grocery store nearby. We will forever remember our stay at Powercourts hotel and would happily recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the calm surroundings nearby Wicklow mountain ranges.
Sehr schön und komfortabel.
Das einzige Restaurant war anscheinend ausgebucht, hatte aber abends zu jeder Zeit viele freie Plätze.
Staff was 110%. Thank you.

Facilities and gardens were lovely. Friendly staff. Rooms spotless
Food could have been better considering the price but overall a great stay
We were attending an appointment in Dublin and decided to have breakfast at Powerscourt on our way back home to Wexford. This was going to allow us to check out the hotel as we try stay away a couple of times a year as a treat.
On entering we asked could we have breakfast and were led downstairs by a friendly and chatty attendant. On arriving at the breakfast room we were rudely turned away by the maître d' stating they were too busy. Extremely rude and dismissive.
Understand if a hotel is busy but the manner and how we were treated was not to be expected in a “premium” hotel. We’ve been lucky enough to stay at Adare, Shelbourne, The Westbury and others over the years. This is not on par with these hotels. Would not stay or recommend based on the interaction of the main staff there.
We stayed five nights at the hotel. The food was very good at Sally Gap and Sika. Sika best for a more relaxed and quiet dining experience while Sally Gap was much louder, but food was good. We were informed upon arrival the first evening dinner reservation at Sally Gap we had a 1:45 minute time slot for our table which I’ve never been lectured about before in person. We had read the notice and were well aware of it and happily made it through our meal with five minutes to spare. We could have exited much sooner had the kitchen brought out our food sooner but it was slow. Lots of families with small children having fun, great place for kids.
Sika was our choice two nights and the food was excellent as was the waiter Alvyn who we had both evenings. Special thanks to his attention to an allergy and his cheerful attitude.
Porter named Tatoo was always helpful, remembered our names and always pleasant when we saw him. Outstanding service with attention to detail.
Bill Floyd the customer service manager did a fine job attending to an issue with a mechanical problem in our room and moved us to another to make things right. He was great to work with.
This hotel does not have a concierge and communications can be confusing at times. Overall the staff is friendly, rooms clean, but we come to expect a well oiled machine when we stay at an Autograph hotel but did not feel that way here at Powerscourt.
Beautiful grounds and building.
