Pros:

I liked the location and the grounds. I thought the rooms were very nice and the dining options were good. The staff were very attentive.

Cons:

We were at an event that had a special rate including breakfast but we had booked before this was announced. Despite paying a lot more for the room than all other attendees they refused to give us breakfast vouchers . Expensive hotel, nice room but very stingy managers.

We had such a wonderful time here, it definitely exceeded our expectations. We were celebrating our having just got married, and they have us a beautiful room to stay in.

An exquisite stay. It is expensive for a reason but if you can or for a special occasion you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful surroundings plus the interior is stunning.

You would need a car as there’s no shuttle to the village or anywhere.

Disappointing stay and overall substandard service in very expensive hotel
Pros:

Lovely bedroom and comfortable large bed. Fabulous setting and views spectacular. Food very nice.

Cons:

Poorly trained bar/waiting staff. Very slow service.
No Pinot Grigio white wine available. No lime available for spirits. My friend asked for lemon in her drink and was given a half of a lemon to add to her drink.
Breakfast buffet cool.
Overall very expensive and sub standard service and not what you would expect from a 5 star hotel.
