The pool was closed, which was a huge shame.
Lovely room , comfy bed, nice bath n shower, couldnt fault anything in the room

Very disappointed with the breakfast.
Full English was basic sausage, bacon, fried egg and fried bread, beans and tin tomatoes. You could do toast but no mushrooms, hash browns or any potato.
The fresh fruit was watermelon, no berries or any other fresh fruit.
The bar had no draught beers
There wasn't a barman except for the lovely man on reception. We had to go ask him to come up to open the bar each time we wanted a drink.
When we booked, it said outdoor pool but that had a foot of green water in it. However, that has been removed off Booking.com now
This period property was well presented, lovely room with comfy bed, very close to the beach and some of the restaurants, gardens and crazy golf.
Found it to be excellent value for money.
Some of the staff were exceptional.
As a period building it doesnt have air con. The room had a fan but this was inadequate during a heat wave, especially in the top rooms.
Staff were absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for them in any way they could help or assist.

Bra läge, nära till stranden. Tyst runtomkring. Parkeringsmöjligheter. Fräscht badrum och okej sängar. Trevlig och hjälpsam personal i receptionen.
Utepoolen var ur funktion. Hela hotellet var väldigt slitet och tyvärr heller inte särskilt välstädat. Frukosten var en typisk engelsk frukost. Matsalen kändes ofräsch och frukostvärdinnorna torkade inte av borden efter gästerna, utan det låg smulor på borden och var kaffefläckar lite överallt.

We like the location and the ease of parking. We liked the pool. It was an easy check in and staff were always helpful and polite.
The room was very warm and the fans were not brilliant at cooling the room. The breakfast options were limited for those not wanting a cooked breakfast or healthier alternatives.
Staff were friendly and helpful
Hotel is old fashioned and frankly in need of an immediate refurbishment. Plus breakfast was a disappointment with eggs swimming in oil and bacon unappealing. Need to drag themselves into the 21st century!
