Central location yet off the main tourist places. The staff was very attentive without being too intrusive - just the right type of customer orientation. The quality of the food in the restaurant was outstanding - the menu was limited but the ingredients of excellent quality.

Hotel Hofgarten Luzern is overall a very nice hotel with a good location, approximately a 10-minute scenic walk from the station alongside the lake. The overall environment is well maintained, comfortable, and pleasant. One thing to note is that if your room is on the second floor, you may need to carry your luggage up a few stairs. Another point to consider is that there is a large church nearby, and the loud bell sound during late-night hours may affect comfort and sleep quality, particularly for light sleepers.
Staff and valet service were wonderful. Convenient location to explore Lucerne without being in an overly crowded area.

Die Lage ist sehr gut und das Haus (und vor allem der Garten) ist schön und gemütlich. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist umfangreich und das Personal sehr freundlich.
Das Zimmer entsprach einem Dreisternehotel. Das hat mich enttäuscht. Keine Klimaanlage und wegen der lauten Strasse war es unangenehm, wenn man das Fenster öffnete. Die Zimmer lässt sich nicht gut verdunkeln. Auch gab es keine Kaffeemaschine im Zimmer.
