Staff friendly and efficient. Room comfortable. Breakfast lots of choice buffet style with tea and coffee brought to your table. Enjoyed Dinner there on Friday 10 July and lunch in the Bar with relatives Saturday 11 July.

We hadn’t stayed here in awhile but it just keeps getting better, we are just back from a two nights stay. Cannot fault the hotel everything was fabulous. Amy and Mary in the restaurant were great both mornings Ellen on reception had great knowledge of the hotel and surrounding areas we had drinks in Dotts bar and the atmosphere was great! 😊 can’t wait to return

First time to stay at the Rose and most certainly won't be the last. The standards were extremely high and the staff so professional and courteous throughout our stay. I could not find a single fault with this Hotel. Food and breakfast was excellent. Shall be highly recommending this Hotel to family and friends. By far our most enjoyable stay of all Hotels we have stayed in around Ireland

Thanks to the restaurant staff, they are friendly and willing to help with anything especially with my kids during break fast time. The receptionists are exceptional. Location of the hotel is quite good as well. And the discount price actually attracted me in the first place. Thanks to all the staff for their excellent services.

My wife, mother-in-law, 4-year-old daughter, and I called into the Rose Hotel hoping to have dinner. When we entered the restaurant, a waitress told us that we couldn’t eat there because it was for residents only. We left, as I’ve never been refused service at a hotel restaurant before.

What made the situation even more disappointing was that shortly afterwards, a couple staying at the nearby Woodlands Caravan Park walked straight into the restaurant and were seated for dinner without any issue. (By the way, Woodlands Caravan Park is fantastic and well worth a visit if you’re touring.)

I went back to reception to ask for clarification, and the receptionist told me that the restaurant is actually open to everyone. That only made the experience more confusing and frustrating.

I feel we were treated unfairly, and it’s disappointing that one member of staff turned us away while others were clearly being welcomed in. I hope the hotel looks into what happened so no other family has the same experience.

Coach holiday to Ireland. Stayed here a couple of nights. Beautiful hotel, rooms lovely with air conditioning.

Excellent hotel . Very clean, breakfast is fantastic as is all the food. The staff are so friendly and helpful. We are return guests and will be back again in the near future.

I honestly cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. From the moment we walked through the doors, we were welcomed with warm smiles and made to feel at home. Every member of staff was so friendly, helpful, and genuinely couldn't do enough for us.

The hotel itself is spotless, with exceptional cleanliness throughout. We dined in both restaurants during our stay, and the food was absolutely spectacular. Every meal was delicious, and the service was outstanding.

My daughter had the most amazing time in the Kids' Club. She couldn't wait to go back every evening, which made our stay even more special. A special thank you to Jenny Francis, who went above and beyond to make my daughter's birthday one she'll always remember. Her kindness and thoughtfulness meant so much to us.

I could go on and on about how incredible our stay was, but words truly don't do it justice. Thank you to everyone for making our visit so memorable. We can't wait to return and make even more wonderful memories. Highly recommended!

Took our daughter out for lunch at Dotts Bar last Saturday, everything was perfect. The staff are always so lovely, we said that she was on her lunch break and the food arrived super quick (even though it was very busy). The food was beautiful, as always. Couldn’t be happier. I don’t know why you’d eat anywhere else!

We’ve been staying at the Rose since 2020 & it continues to uphold its high standard. Staff are exceptional & we will be back in 2027.
