Pacifica Resort Ixtapa

We have been going to Pacifica Ixtapa for 19 years. We absolutely love it! The resort is beautiful, clean and has all the amenities we want. The best part are the staff who work throughout the resort. They are amazing and work so hard. The very best!

My wife and I planned our wedding here at Pacifica Ixtapa. We had already stayed here together before and knew it would be the perfect place for such a special day.

Our wedding planner, Leidy, was absolutely exceptional. She helped us with every detail throughout the entire process, and honestly, we couldn’t have imagined it turning out any better. She made our wedding truly special and stress-free.

Beyond the wedding itself, she made our entire stay memorable. She greeted us at check-in and check-out, made us feel genuinely important, and went above and beyond to accommodate us and our families during the whole trip.

We are so grateful for everything she did for us and would highly recommend both Pacifica Ixtapa and Leidy to anyone planning a wedding or vacation here.

We have been coming to Pacifica Itapa for over 20 years now, and it never disappoints. Beautiful location on the beach, a relaxed and friendly vibe, and the joy of awakening to the singing of birds. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The beach is incredible, the rooms are comfortable and clean, and the restaurants are good and reasonably priced.
I would like to personally thank the following staff: Ivan for his willingness to help in any way possible. Antonio for his service on the beach, always with a smile. Fernanda for helping me locate a book I had left on the beach. Freddy for taking care of our luggage, both coming and leaving, to Dora for booking a snorkeling trip for us, and to the person who brought coffee and pastry to our room every morning and kept our room spotless (Laura?).

We have been members for 17 years and only missed one year coming to the Pacifica when our grandson was born. As in previous years, the weather was great and the Pacifica staff were friendly and accommodating. However, it is very disappointing for us when we arrive each year in March and there are changes that affect our stay. This year it was the closure of the Moon Bar for breakfast and the reduction the gondola hours were operating. We were on the all inclusive and really enjoy sitting down for a nice breakfast at the Moon Bar rather than having the buffet every day. The change in the gondola hours to 9AM on the week days directly impacted us as we stay in the Senior King and transportation is always difficult to get in the morning. in the past, we have utilized the gondola to get to the beach for early morning walks 100% of the time. One other note is that it really hard to want to invest in the all inclusive when all the restaurants do not have some variety in their menus from week to week. This has been a common complaint of many of the guest that we spoke with.

We have been coming here since 1990. It’s our happy place. It is beautiful and relaxing. We get exceptional service everywhere on the property. Jose and Antonio on the beach keep us full of food and drink on the beach each day. Alfonzo is the best concierge. He helps with every aspect of our trip to make things easy for us. Massages, reservations and anything else we need. Breakfast is always the best way to start the day there. Each year we see new improvements making it an even better place to visit. It is truly our home away from home. Everyone from the luggage people who greet you to the house keepers and servers and maintenance people do their job so well to make our trip always one of the best trips each year. We can’t wait to come back!!

This is the second year we've come. The resort is beautiful. The service is great, everything is clean. The beach is outstanding.

The resort is comprised of numerous buildings, all are on a tiered hillside, so there are a lot of steps. They offer free transportation throughout the resort and even have a gondola. We just took the steps as it was a good break from sitting around on the beach all day.

New every day, lots of variety and new dishes or variations on the old. Staff very attentive and loved the custom egg orders, super speedy and always done the way you wanted.

Excellent Staff

The entire staff at this resort are incredible. In particular. Ivan (beach concierge) has gone above and beyond to make sure we are enjoying our vacation. His English is excellent. He is very professional and friendly. Always a big smile to greet you every day. Thank you so much!

Nice accommodations. Had a 2 bath/1bdrm with a partial kitchen. Nice view, quite and clean. Need strong legs as there are many stairs and no elevator. Transport bus did run throughout the resort.

Our first trip was very much enjoyed - beautiful, clean resort, friendly, helpful staff. This was a great affordable place to get away and relax. Do know that the suites are on a hill, so there are lots of stairs, however, there is the trolly and shuttles to move you about the area. It would have been nice to have a disco on site for after hours entertainment, as this resort is a ways from any action.

The gondola was not operating for 10 out of 13 day stay. A lot of stairs & wasted time waiting for shuttles to get between facilities.
Spa pool only had half the normal amount of the pools canopies, chairs & lounger set out.

If you’re looking for a great Mexican vacation with Mexican families, this is certainly the place, clean, polite, and safe
The inclusive food plan is wonderful and certainly more than you can even eat!

Our experience, as always, was excellent. All personnel extremely kind, attentive, and thoughtful. I do not mention their names because is possible that I might forget one, instead I include them all, restaurants, mantainance, personnel for transpsortation and security, and especially Carolina and Paloma.

My only suggestion is to make a deep cleaning to the units, for example twice a year. Also I think the gardens need more attention, I saw some plants infected.

Any way, PacifilcaGrand is parte of our family.
