Great Stay during Transit
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Rex Hotel! The breakfast buffet was fantastic with great options for my wife and daughter, who are non-vegetarians. As a vegetarian, I was incredibly impressed by the service. The moment the staff realized my dietary preference, they went above and beyond—Linn and the team proactively offered and prepared personalized vegetarian noodles and stir-fried tofu just for me.Our Premium Twin room was very spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you would expect from a top-tier hotel. The exceptional hospitality really made our trip pleasant. We will definitely be back!

Für eine schöne Aussicht gibt es bessere Hotels.

Super Personal. Schöner Frühstück Raum. Gutes Bett. Gutes Schwimmbad.

Cons:

​Frühstückszeiten: Das Frühstück gibt es nur bis 10:00 Uhr. Für ein internationales Touristenhotel ist das unserer Meinung nach etwas zu kurz – ein bisschen mehr Flexibilität (z. B. bis 10:30 Uhr) wäre "einmalig" gewesen.
​Kaffee im Zimmer (Wichtig für Diabetiker!): Auf dem Zimmer gab es leider nur löslichen Kaffee, der bereits Zucker enthielt. Das ist ein großes Problem für Menschen mit einer Zuckerkrankheit (Diabetes). Zucker ist nicht gesund. Bitte leitet dies an das Management weiter: Es sollte immer auch ungesüßter Kaffee/schwarzer Kaffee zur Verfügung stehen!
​Zimmeraussicht: Wir hatten eine Woche lang ein Zimmer, dessen Fenster direkt auf das Nachbarzimmer blickte. Wir dachten eigentlich, dass alle Zimmer hier eine schöne Aussicht bieten. Das war leider enttäuschend.

Unbeatable location with charming people, great pool, and breakfast on the rooftop overlooking Ho Chi Minh City
Pros:

The location is unbeatable and the breakfast was excellent. We are a family of 5 and booked a king and a twin with an extra bed. We were lucky enough to be given an interconnected room which was perfect for us. The rooftop bar area is really special and the pool was great for the kids. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. Would absolutely stay again.

Cons:

The rooms are a little dated but I actually found that added to the experience. The location means it’s very busy right outside but the noise from the street didn’t carry to us. We could hear a bit of noise from neighbouring rooms.

Great family hotel, will come back again
Pros:

The breakfast was great with a great selection, the upstairs bar was sensational, the pool facilities were up there with some of the best we have stayed at, the head concierge did everything he was supposed to do

Cons:

One of the junior porters was a bit upfront telling me that he needed to be tipped personally for opening the door of the taxi, i explained that i had tipped the head man enough for all of them

The Rex is Old School Style, exemplified. Everyone and everything about this establishment is A1
Pros:

Once again, everything met or exceeded our expectations. From the moment we pulled up, the staff treated us like royalty. The room was sumptuous. The breakfast set us up for a whole day's exploring. The Rooftop restaurant is a great place to enjoy a drink and a meal. But above all, the staff are truly lovely people who do everything to make a guest feel like family.

Cons:

Not a thing, except we wish we could have stayed longer.
