Very nice with historical charm, perfect location
Pros:

Stayed in Governor King Suite, nice room, adequate space with separate longe area 2 toilets, etc. Visit Saigon 3-4 times per year and Rex Hotel in a great position at the end of the street, making it easy for taxis to collect you. Stayed at all the others as well, Caravelle, Siagon Grand etc but the Rex is best for position. Main reason I stay at any 5 star hotel is the quality of the gym, crappy gym, then I don't stay. Rex gym is pretty good.

Cons:

Hmm, this is maybe a grizzle. I took a number of people up to the roof garden bar area, which is very nice, however, the band playing eliminates any opportunity for conversation, which is the purpose. Even at the farthest end of the upstairs area, out of the way, the noise was most intrusive and annoying and disrupted any attempt at conversation. So, one drink and we left and never came back. Stayed 7 nights. Rex Hotel should have a separate area set aside for people who actually want to communicate with each other rather than being forced to endure a blasting noise.

Die Zimmer sind top , aber was Schall Isolation betrifft nicht auf dem neusten Stand.

Great location and very clean rooms in middle of downtown
Pros:

Clean very comfortable bed the room size was great. Location great and all the big brand names walking distance. Staff are great and friendly and very helpful

Cons:

The only thing I didn’t like was the breakfast but that was no big deals and plenty of cafes and restaurants around and close by

Good place to stay with a child.
Pros:

Pool was great and though the hotel somewhat faded very good . Breakfast was lovely.

Cons:

Needs an upgrade. Last renovation has run its course.

Cons:

Ingenting. Det skal dog bemærkes at jeg er kommet på hotellet jævnligt gennem 15 år, og morgenmaden er blevet en anelse ringere. Bake off måske.

Great Stay during Transit
Pros:

We had a wonderful stay at the Rex Hotel! The breakfast buffet was fantastic with great options for my wife and daughter, who are non-vegetarians. As a vegetarian, I was incredibly impressed by the service. The moment the staff realized my dietary preference, they went above and beyond—Linn and the team proactively offered and prepared personalized vegetarian noodles and stir-fried tofu just for me.Our Premium Twin room was very spacious, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you would expect from a top-tier hotel. The exceptional hospitality really made our trip pleasant. We will definitely be back!
