Cons:

Out of the six days of my stay at the hotel, my children and I suffered from food poisoning caused by the hotel’s food for four of those days. On the third day of our stay, my daughter had been vomiting for two days, and on the sixth and final day, my 6-year-old son and I also got food poisoning—we ate exclusively at the hotel. I strongly recommend checking the quality of the food at the hotel; this situation completely ruined our vacation and our impression of the hotel. I also didn’t like the fact that by 9 a.m. there were already no free lounge chairs left by the pool, since they’re reserved with towels—regardless of whether the guest is actually at the pool or not; people just leave their towels there and walk away. I believe the management should prohibit.The room cleaning was a 7 out of 10, because when we checked into the room, the floor on the balcony was dirty—and it stayed that way until we checked out—and the mirror in the room wasn’t clean.
P.S. The photo below shows the light-colored sausages that my son and I got sick from on the last day, since we both ate the same thing that day.

Fantastic pool for kids, disappointing food
Pros:

The room was decent. The highlight of our holiday was definitely the kids' pool with the pirate ship. Our children absolutely loved it.

Cons:

The breakfast and all-inclusive food and drinks were disappointing, so we chose to have dinner outside the hotel.

Pros:

Great pool, slides, location, and staff!

Pool & Entertainment: The pool and slides were fantastic! They kept our kids entertained and happy throughout our entire 4-day stay. The pool bar was also a great touch.

Location & Parking: The hotel's location is excellent—within walking distance to the beach and just a short drive to everything you need, with no parking issues at all.

Staff: The staff members were lovely and provided wonderful service.

Cons:

Towel policy and breakfast room for improvement

Pool Towels: Pool towels are not provided, so you either have to bring your own or purchase them there.

Breakfast & Food: At breakfast, there was only one station with a single chef preparing omelets one by one, which caused a bit of a bottleneck. While we never left hungry, the overall quality of the food could definitely be improved

Good value for money.
Pros:

Overall, we had a great stay. The food was good—it’s a standard all-inclusive with no special extras, but everything was tasty and there was always enough variety to find something you like. Room is good and clean.

Cons:

The only downside was that many guests reserved sunbeds by the pool early in the morning and then disappeared until around lunchtime. As a result, it was very difficult to find a free sunbed, even though many of the reserved ones remained empty for hours. It would be great if the hotel could manage this situation better.

An excellent stay with outstanding service, great food and fantastic facilities
Pros:

We recently stayed at Papouis Hotel and had an excellent experience from start to finish. The staff were exceptionally polite, friendly, and always willing to help, making us feel welcome throughout our stay.

The food was excellent, with a great variety of options, and the snacks available during the day were also very enjoyable. The alcoholic drinks were of good quality and added to the overall experience.

The facilities were outstanding. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and well-maintained. We especially appreciated the complimentary refillable water provided in the room, as well as the thoughtful customised water bottles given to our children, which was a lovely personal touch.

For families, this hotel is a fantastic choice. There are two swimming pools and a dedicated play area for children, providing plenty of entertainment and relaxation for all ages.

Overall, Papouis Hotel offers incredible value for money and exceeds expectations in many areas. In our opinion, it easily deserves a 4-star rating. We would happily return and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, family-friendly holiday with excellent service and facilities.

Cons:

The only minor issue we encountered was an occasional sewage smell coming from the bathroom. However, this was a small inconvenience and did not take away from what was otherwise a wonderful stay.

Outstanding family hotel , a hidden gem
Pros:

From the moment we arrived until the day we left, Papouis Hotel exceeded every expectation we had.
The first thing that impressed us was the staff. Every single member of the team was genuinely friendly, welcoming and always willing to help with a smile. Their hospitality made us feel at home throughout our stay.
The hotel was spotlessly clean. Our room was immaculate, the public areas were always well maintained, and the swimming pools were crystal clear every day. The children's water slides were fantastic and became the highlight of the holiday for our kids.
We chose the All Inclusive package and it was absolutely worth it. The variety of food was excellent, with plenty of delicious options every day. The afternoon BBQ was outstanding, and the fish dishes were among the best we have ever had at an All Inclusive resort.
One thing that really impressed us was the management. After speaking with the owner, we decided to extend our stay, and he offered us a very fair price. It's rare nowadays to find a hotel that genuinely values its guests, and that gesture meant a lot to us.
The hotel also organised activities throughout the day, including water aerobics, water volleyball and entertainment for guests, creating a fun and lively atmosphere for families.
A lovely touch at check-out was that our children were each given personalised water bottles with their names on them. It was a small gesture, but one they will remember for a long time.
Although officially rated as a 3-star hotel, in terms of cleanliness, service, facilities and overall experience, it deserves to be considered closer to a 4-star hotel. It offers outstanding value for money and is one of the best family hotels we have stayed in.

Cons:

A few suggestions for improvement:
Some dishes, such as the pasta, could be cooked a little less.
Adding a second lift would reduce waiting times during busy hours.
Fresh items like waffles and pizza were very popular, so increasing production would reduce queues.
A wider selection of food for children would be appreciated.
Some desserts could be served colder.
The drinks included in the All Inclusive package could be improved.
Despite these minor points, our overall experience was exceptional. We will definitely return if we have the opportunity, and we highly recommend Papouis Hotel to any family looking for a fantastic holiday with excellent value for money.

Θα πρέπει να βρεθεί μια λύση με τα πουλιά στον εξωτερικό χώρο φαγητού... αρκετά ανθυγιεινές καθώς τρώνε μέσα από τα πιάτα μας...
