Most definitely a truly 5 star establishment with wonderful staff and facilities.
Pros:

From the moment I arrived at Borei Angkor Resort & Spa, I was made to feel extremely welcome. The hotel staff greeted me warmly with a refreshing welcome drink and a cold towel, which was a lovely touch after my journey.

I was also delighted to receive a room upgrade, which made my stay even more enjoyable. My room was spacious, beautifully appointed and exactly as described on the hotel's website. It offered everything I could have wished for, including both a separate bathtub and a shower, making it a particularly comfortable and relaxing space.

The breakfast was simply fabulous. There was an impressive choice of cuisine, with something to suit virtually every taste. Even the most discerning foodie would have found plenty to enjoy from the wonderful selection on offer. One particular tip for coffee lovers: do try the traditional Cambodian iced coffee at breakfast – it was absolutely delicious and a great way to start the day.

For those who enjoy keeping fit while travelling, the hotel's fitness facilities are exceptional. The gym is genuinely one of the best hotel gyms I have encountered anywhere in the world, and the Olympic-size swimming pool is an excellent additional facility. If you want to work off a few calories after breakfast, you certainly won't be short of options!

However, what really stood out throughout my stay was the exceptional service. Every member of staff I encountered was warm, friendly, attentive and incredibly generous with their hospitality. They are a real credit to Borei Angkor Resort & Spa.

I was made to feel almost like royalty during my stay, and that level of genuine Cambodian hospitality made the experience particularly memorable.

Cons:

The location was slightly out of the way from the main nightlife of Siem Reap. You had to take a tuk-tuk every time you wanted to go into the main area (Pub Street) to have a drink and something to eat.

Peace, Positivity & Perfection - sums up our stay
Pros:

Paige and I loved our stay at Borei Angkor Resort & Spa. The food was excellent, the spa was lovely, and the ambience throughout the hotel was beautiful. Our room had a balcony overlooking the gorgeous pool, with a comfortable chair perfectly positioned to enjoy the view. The amenities were thoughtfully restocked every day, and the concierge helped organize most of our activities. A special thank-you to the hotel’s driver, Bunna, who became our personal driver and friend for three wonderful days. We highly recommend this hotel!

Pros:

La amabilidad de los trabajadores y el trato recibido. Nos dejaron hacer uso del las instalaciones hasta que salió nuestro autobús por la noche.

Cons:

Mejoraría la posibilidad de prorrogar el Check Out hasta mas tarde, pagando una comisión menor que un día entero de reserva, pero se compensa perfectamente con el uso gratuito de las instalaciones donde puedes usar las duchas del SPA.

Close to the city centre, but not in it
Pros:

Friendly staff, very helpful and attentive. Great facilities - pool and gym. The bed was comfy and the bath was great. Clean and tidy. Breakfast buffet had a good selection of both western and local foods. It was nice and quiet too. Away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to catch a tuk tuk to the city if we wanted to.

Cons:

A little dated but this would not stop me from staying again. The restaurants are pricey so we ate in and around Pub Street.

Ten out of ten, fair square!
Pros:

Absolutely superb hotel and very professional and hospitable staff. Everything was a top quality - room, WiFi connection, restaurants, breakfast, swimming pool, spa, gym…I really enjoyed the whole stay and I wish I can return one day again!

Hotel is beautiful. Everything is luxury and very clean. Bed very comfortable.
Price is reasonable for a hotel like this.

Struttura molto, molto bella così come le camere ottimamente climatizzate. Buona colazione ed ottimo ristorante interno specializzato in carne (buona lista vini a giusti prezzi).
Consigliatissimo.

Cons:

Nulla, solo un pochino fuori dal centro ma con pochissimo i Tuc Tuc (o Grab) ti portano ovunque.

We really loved the peaceful atmosphere, beautiful resort, clean and comfortable room, and the warm Cambodian hospitality. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout our stay. I also enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and relaxing environment after exploring Angkor. Everything was well maintained and made our stay feel very comfortable and special. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Cons:

Honestly, there was very little that we didn’t like. Everything was well organized and comfortable during our stay. If anything, we just wish we had more time to enjoy the beautiful resort and its facilities. We would happily stay here again on our next visit to Siem Reap. 😊
