Outstanding service recovery and a truly unforgettable stay!

We stayed at the Nina Hotel Tsuen Wan West twice around our trip to Japan, and it was an unforgettable experience. For our final night, the front desk or reservation manager generously upgraded us to a spectacular Corner Suite on the 81st floor. Because we were staying for quite a long time, the hotel made a great decision to reward us as valued guests with this wonderful gesture. The views were paramount and breathtaking. Furthermore, the housekeeping attendants were all incredibly friendly, polite, and pleasant throughout our stay.

This hotel holds beautiful memories for me, as my mother was also a frequent guest here. Her absolute favorite parts were the bath tub and the stunning harbor view. It was so special to sit together, day or night, looking out at the beautiful harbor views of Hong Kong and the Ting Kau bridge. The management team truly values their long-term guests and delivers professional excellence. We will definitely come back to stay here again, and we happily give it a 10 out of 10!

Cons:

During our first arrival, there were a few room mix-ups at check-in. Two of us have asthma, so we strictly needed a thoroughly vacuumed, dust-free room, and space for five suitcases. While the first two options did not fit our health and luggage needs, the staff listened carefully and fixed everything beautifully. They secured our favorite, spotless room (7002) for our main stay. Mistakes can happen, but their exceptional service recovery completely turned the experience around.

Due to our tight schedules, it was a pity we did not have time to enjoy the hotel food or the swimming pool.

The room's overall design and space. The view outside was also great. The location is excellent, with easy access to the MTR and buses.

Cons:

The trouble of waiting for the elevator to get to the 41st floor in order to transfer to another elevator to my room. The reception lobby design on both the ground floor and the 41st floor needs improvement. The overall impression is not welcoming, especially with a lot of left luggage piling up just next to the reception counter. It might be more efficient to use the 41st floor for check-in reception and the ground floor just for express checkout (using checkout machines) and left luggage.
