Great location, ok accommodation
Pros:

Location was good, great walking track along the water.
Josh was friendly and made us feel welcome.
Overall reasonably quiet and a lovely view.

Cons:

The living area stunk of fish. Cupboard and fridge handles were filthy. Some crockery was put away unwashed. Rangehood super greasy! Globes in kitchen area need replacing. All tiled floors were sticky.
The bed was so uncomfortable (saggy, lumpy, unsupportive) and was made up with just sheets... no blankets/doona, its Winter! Thankfully there was bedding in the cupboard.

The location is great close to things not as busy as surfers but needs a paint n update!
Pros:

Smaller than we thought , no vanity bench to put your makeup on , place was in need of a good paint!!

Water glimpses i thought we were a front apartment
Pros:

The price was ok but a bit of false advertising, make sure you ask where your staying as our apartment was right near the garage gates and was so loud evertime someone went in or out

Cons:

Bed was rocky with the wheels , the bedside cupboard was broken , hallways smelt of smoke , was a ok stay you get what you pay for i just expected a little bit nicer , the spa needed more water i will certainly look more into my stays next time .

Very pleasant overall because of what we had planned; but we won't book that unit again.
Pros:

The main ( older) receptionist was great; helpful. Lovely view and very comfy bed.

Cons:

On arrival the young male receptionist told us we weren't due till the next day! What a welcome (he was wrong, but there was no apology). Whoever designed the unit's layout did a pretty poor job; we often stay in one-bedroom units (17 trips in 2025) but this has to be the tiniest in terms of space to move and storage space. No dishwasher is NOT a problem, but the one-and-only teatowel was terrible. The owners need to ensure they supply a quality towel if they want dishes and cutlery dried. Also when we arrived (late afternoon) there was a tea caddy on the bench with absolutely NOTHING in it ( no tea, coffee or sugar) but there was milk in the fridge. That has NEVER happened to us before. The microwave is in a dangerous position; no one likes lifting piping hot food out of the oven that is well above their head height. And there were no pot-holders (or similar) to assist with hot food or cooking.

Pros:

The property is conveniently located to the waterfront and cafes and restaurants within 5-7 walking distance. It is a self contained apartment within a residential apartment building with kitchen n kitchenette facilities including a washing machine and dryer. The duplex property has 2 washrooms and an outdoor common swimming pool and Jacuzzi facility. The Jacuzzi facility is great and worth giving a try.

Cons:

There is no 24hour reception or room cleaning facilities as the manager is the sole person responsible for upkeep and cleanliness of the property. The apartment was not clean and there are visible dust balls on the floor and ceiling. The furniture is not wiped down and dust is visible to the naked eye. Also the basic necessities like tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper are not available in the accommodation. Recommended to carry along your own stuff.

Spacious and comfortable

Cons:

Lack of room servicing and had to repeatedly request toilet paper, bin liners ( they request bins be emptied every day), towels etc. Reception was barely manned.

There is a lift. Big fridge. Enough utensils. Clean enough on the surface.

Cons:

TV set top box is an issue (turn off /on power to get it to work). Neither booking com, or communication from reception, told me that my room & balcony were right next to a construction site. I didn't mind the noise & a little music, but the workmen were very close, hence no privacy on the balcony & I had to keep blinds down for inside privacy too. The blinds have no option (either up or down)... Not happy at all that I wasn't told, nor would reception move me (each unit is privately owned). So, lessons learned to check beforehand with reception / online request.
