Lovely stay for a birthday treat
Pros:

The location and grounds were lovely. Hotel very clean and decor was beautiful. The spa thermal experience was worth every penny. Very relaxing and calming.

Cons:

Having to pay everything seperate was a bit of a pain. Maybe a deal for stay, dinner, spa and breakfast would be beneficial, as it took me 2 days to get through to the hotel to book the spa. We had a very small issue at dinner. However was dealt with and we received complimentary drinks each. Was a bit of a wait for these, although got them in the end. All in all a really good stay and would definitely return.

Nice hotel with good facilities but food not so good.
Pros:

The spa was very good and the options for treatments were numerous.

Cons:

The food wasn't good quality or hot, only look warm and the Sunday roast was very tough, even the roast potatoes were hard.

Everything great but would bring my nespresso machine.
Pros:

In great condition, staff friendly and welcoming.

Cons:

The coffee in the rooms wasn’t what you would expect for a hotel of this standard. The coffee at breakfast was weak so we bought coffee’s from the bar for £4.50 each. These again weren’t great. A coffee machine in the room is standard now in lots of hotels.

Very nice pleasant staff, who do go above their job role.
Pros:

Cleanliness, dog friendly staff.

Cons:

Had a rarely disappointing meal for special occasion.
It was however handed over to management.

Would not stay again .
Pros:

Breakfast was fine

Cons:

The single bed in our room had not been changed from previous guest . We phoned reception when we discoverd this as we were about to go to bed.
Reception said no staff on at that time to deal with it .
My sister and I had to share the other bed in the room which had thankfully been changed.

Cons:

There was no fridge in the room. No cctv covering the carpark area, our car was badly damaged, tried all day (Sunday 5th July) to contact hotel with no luck. Was told on the Monday that u park at your own risk. Very disappointing. Costing 100’s of pounds to get our car fixed.
