OK property but in the middle of nowhere with nothing to be seen. Have to grab a cab to the city.
Room was decent enough though a bit tight for 3 people. No view other than grass and a line of trees.
Left some property in the room. Wrote the hotel 3 times and corporate once. No response whatsoever. I take full blame for leaving the things but a response of some sort would be the professional way of doing things.
Food was ok but a rather typical meciocre buffet.
The room and bathroom were spacious and nice and clean. The hot water was plentiful but lacked a little pressure. The bed was extremely comfortable and sleep was uninterrupted with noise. Bath towels were big and thirsty. For my fellow Americans, there were no washcloths, common in Europe. It's located out of town but would be a short taxi ride. Dinner in the restaurant had varied dishes and was fairly good.
Our large tour group enjoyed only one evening at this classic, well-maintained hotel but it was a comfortable stay. The room was clean, spacious and comfy. There meeting rooms where we were treated to traditional Greek dance lessons, though with two left feet and vertigo issues, I did not attempt to step on anyone’s toes☺ Registration staff were friendly and helpful, especially when I got lost wondering around the compound. The restaurant is housed in a large, spacious building attached to the lobby. For the tour group, there was buffet style dining, but servers often inquired if I needed anything. One offered to bring a bowl of soup, the daily special. Yum! I’m glad he did.
nice, quiet hotel, quiet clean well appointed room, lovely pool, nice buffet dinner....only a five minute drive from the town itself
This Hotel takes you to a classic hotel, perfect if you want to experience history. It has a beautiful garden for you to enjoy with a book. The breakfast was great. Is is close to Nafplio town and if you have a car, you should stay here. Loved every minute of the stay
Stayed for 2 nights as part of a small tour group of 14 .
Our room was ok but we found the bed very hard & uncomfortable. Having asked our tour company for a walk in shower were given a wet room , this was fine .
We ate dinner here one evening. The buffet was ok & the wine we chose was nice . Breakfast was adequate but not as good as the previous Amalia in Athens .
We sat for a while on the terrace near the pool one afternoon, quite pleasant.
Location is a way out of the town , so this might be a let down .
Big clean room reasonably priced food nice breakfast great diner buffet
Hotel is big good , free parking , breakfast is good area is big ,room is big and fare . And a welcome wine is good also. But i lost my Red Bull drink in small fridge in room after I notified forget to take out after check out . When i went back to hotel after 3 hour to ask the Reception , the answer is no see and no Red Bull drink . Their even go to check it . Just said sorry about it .
We stayed here 3 nights in hopes that we could see the Mykenes Historical sight and the large fort on top of the hill among other things. The hotel was one of the best on our trip. Large room, great food, wonderful buffet dinner, nice large sunny pool area. But located away from everything and meant for large tour bus groups or those like us who drove there. Room even had a balcony.
Our stay was excellent at the hotel. Relaxing and pleasant. Outdated but nice rooms. Beautiful pool but not heated. Wonder breakfast buffet. Helpful front desk.
Where the rooms were clean we noticed several small water bugs in the bathroom. We suggest more aggressive treatment of the rooms to minimize this issue.
Really nice facility - clean spacious rooms
Pool was good. Hotel was clean and convenient
Great
Excellent staff and service
Great location, plenty of parking and close to beaches and Nafplio port.
What a gorgeous hotel, we booked this 30 minutes before arrival and turned up to realise there was a wedding on there and thought it would be noisy. But to say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement. The reception had got the booking, the bedroom extremely comfortable, the pool enormous and well kept and the staff very helpful. A superb hotel that I would highly recommend.
Beautiful hotel
During my stay, there was a birthday celebration at the hotel, and it was quite noisy, which made it difficult to relax. In addition, there was no proper parking area, which was inconvenient.
Good bed, good swimming pool.
Lovely old world hotel. Great breakfast lovely pool and surrounds
