La ubicación es excelente, las vistas de las colinas y bosques que rodean el hotel son preciosas. En las noches se ve muy lindo el lago Sochagota. La habitación bien aseada y confortable.
Hacía mucho tiempo no visitaba el Hotel Estelar de Paipa. El mantenimiento de las zonas comunes, ha decaído muchísimo!. El sauna y el turco están muy envejecidos y sin mantenimiento adecuado, los jacuzzis deteriorados, los pisos manchados. El Kiosco del muelle frente al lago, necesita reparación, tiene varios huecos que cubrieron con plástico. Es una pena que no mantengan este hotel icónico de la cadena ESTELAR.
Otro incomodo detalle, ocurrió en el check-out. Solicite Factura electrónica y entregué los datos requeridos según la DIAN: Nit, Razón social, dirección y correo electrónico. Me exigieron RUT, Camara de Comercio menor a 30 días y Cédula del representante legal. Por supuesto, no los entregué, finalmente me dieron la factura, pero fue un momento desagradable. Que pesar, que estén tan desactualizados!. Mi conclusión es que este Hotel tiene un gran problema de administración.
La atención del personal, mi madre estaba de cumpleaños y le llevaron en el desayuno una tarta con helado y una velita, fue un super detalle. Las vistas del lago preciosas, la comodidad de las camas, el desayuno muy variado y la comida del restaurante muy rica. En general me pareció un remanso de paz.
Por poner alguna pega, creo que podrían actualizar las superficies de madera de las habitaciones, las persianas, por ejemplo, pero por lo demás perfecto

La atención y amabilidad son excepcionales, los restaurantes ofrecen alternativas deliciosas. Un sitio para relajarse y desconectar.
Buenas instalaciones. Excelente el sendero ecológico. Buena atención del personal, principalmente los perritos que lo acompañan para hacer el recorrido por el sendero.
La alimentación es buena, pero les falta ofrecer más comida de la región, faltaron las arepas boyacenses, los envueltos de mazorca, entre otros.
