Pros:

All rooms are having sea facing balcony with sunrise view. Excellent location, just a mile away from Bar Harbor town and 10 min drive from Cadillac Mountain. Enjoyed the pool. We will certainly visit again.

This is the first time we’ve stayed a bit outside of of bar harbor and honestly it was a very pleasant stay with wonderf
Pros:

Everyone was so kind and the hotel was kept up very well. Such a comfortable stay.

Cons:

The walk to the shuttle was incredibly long, especially at night, but understandable so not anyone’s fault.

We loved the room and our stay in Maine. Would definitely come back here.
Pros:

Great amenities! We had amazing views of the water from our balcony and the room was spacious. Liked the double vanities in bathroom.

Cons:

Location was not very close to walk to downtown. Walking during daylight is ok but at night you need to take shuttle bus located on property. The shuttle bus is at their other hotel on property so it’s not directly in front of Bluenose. We arrived Sunday so we did not get to hear entertainment and bar wasn’t open.

Exceptional value for a superior room!
Pros:

We had a lovely stay at the Bluenose Inn. We booked an ocean view room in the Eden building and it was exceptional. The room was more like a suite and was complete with a kitchen. The furnishings were all brand new, walls freshly painted, and everything was so well appointed. It was beautiful! The view from our room was also incredible. Bathroom was spacious and had plenty of counter space to spread out. Beds were extremely comfortable as well as the pillows. We enjoyed the massage chair after a long day of hiking in the park, as well as some time in the pool. Proximity to Acadia Visitor Center is five minutes, and there is also a a free shuttle pickup in the parking lot at the Bluenose Inn. The shuttle was so convenient for exploring the park and not having to drive our car and find parking. The Bluenose property was also a two minute drive to the main village center of Bar Harbor (restaurants, shops, etc).
Overall, this property was by far the best one we stayed in even compared to a much larger luxury property that we so stayed in down on the harbor.

Cons:

No complaints at all

Very nice . Just 2 issues directions being one and outside pool being advertised as being heated it was freezing even in
Pros:

Very pretty location looking out at beautiful scenery

Cons:

Very difficult to get there.
Directions should be sent to guests with reservations so that they don’t ride around in circles trying to find the place

Great location and walkable to town.
Pros:

The property was in a good location and walkable to get into town. The facility was clean and staff was friendly. Plenty of parking around the hotel.

Cons:

The rooms inside the hotel are dated as is the furniture. Our room was clean as well as the common areas, but it has a 1990’s feel.
