Nice spacious room
€380 for one adult and 3 children under 11 not including breakfast, very expensive. The pool is more like a large bath
Check-in staff were great and clear instructions on using the car park. Special thank you to the young gentleman who is a marathon runner.
It was all good.
This hotel would struggle to make it to a 3 star rating. A dismal & depressing dining room.
We stayed the Sunday night of the May bank holiday, we had the most fantastic time. We were fortunate enough that our room was ready earlier than check in time. The room itself was fabulous, so comfortable and spotless with a mini fridge. The best night sleep, we were not the 7th floor facing the road. The only one tiny down fall was that the bathroom shower facilities are a combined shampoo and body wash. Breakfast the following morning was outstanding cooked to order. Every member of staff was genuinely lovely.
We stayed at the hotel whilst attending at the Regeneron marathon event in the city. Hotel itself is lovely and so central. Star of the show was the staff: so accommodating & friendly at every point of contact. Coffee was superb & meal in savoy bar (salad nicoise) top notch.
This review is for excellent tapas served with a friendly smile by Stefany in the Savoy Bar. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. I had lamb meatballs, crispy monkfish and grilled prawns and chorizo on sourdough. Thoroughly recommended.
I recently stayed at The Savoy Limerick and, unfortunately, the experience was far from the 5-star standard they advertise.
Billing Issues: Despite explicit instructions that my stay was to be billed to my company, the hotel charged my personal card anyway. It took an unreasonable amount of time and multiple follow-ups to get my money refunded, which is unacceptable for a high-end establishment.
Parking Frustration: The hotel uses a separate car park across the street. Even though I confirmed with reception that my parking was sorted, the payment wasn't processed. I ended up stuck at the exit on hold for nearly 30 minutes trying to resolve the issue just to leave.
Service Standards: Overall, the service felt more like a 2 or 3-star hotel. Between the administrative errors and the lack of efficiency, I expected much better.
If you are traveling for business and need reliable billing and smooth logistics, I would suggest looking elsewhere.
We have been staying in the Savoy for years and everyone always remembers us, looks after us and makes us feel like were part of the olace everytime we stay. We will continue to stay there on our breaks away from the kids as long as theyll have us
Everything is perfect

Large room
Good location
Very good location and very nice bedroom.
I was happy with the property
Absolutely stunning room, the location is great, right in the middle of Limerick city great for people who don’t drive. The bed was fabulous, room included a coffee machine for just that extra touch of class. The bathroom had a lovely bath and shower. Room was a great size also, could move around without feeling squeezed in, quite spacious especially for a city centre hotel room. Breakfast was also included in our stay and it was a wonderful service, the food was absolutely delicious.
The property itself I had no issue. The only problem I had was the check in time. Check in was 3pm, if you’re travelling on early flights and want to check in early perhaps factor that in to your booking or call ahead to arrange.
