If you're looking for a clean, family-friendly hotel in Ocean City, NJ, I can't recommend The Forum enough.

We stayed here with our 4-year-old twins, and it checked every box for a relaxing family vacation. The location is outstanding—it's only about a block from the boardwalk, just a short walk to the beach, and not far from Castaway Cove Playground, making it easy to enjoy everything Ocean City has to offer without constantly moving the car. Slimeology is also right next door, which was a huge hit with our girls.

Cleanliness is one of the most important things I look for when booking a hotel, and The Forum exceeded my expectations. Our room, the hallways, pool area, and entire property were spotless. The hotel is clearly well cared for. Housekeeping checked in daily, brought fresh towels, and everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful.

The pool was one of the highlights of our stay. It was crystal clear, peaceful, and never felt overcrowded. There were plenty of lounge chairs, so we always had somewhere to relax. My favorite feature was the separate shallow kiddie pool that's only about a foot deep. Our daughters could safely sit, splash, and play without their floaties, while the larger pool was perfect once they put on their swim jackets. It was obvious that many families with young children choose this hotel, and everyone was respectful and courteous.

Customer service was exceptional. While packing to leave, one of my daughters accidentally packed the complimentary Ocean City visitor guide. I called the hotel expecting to arrange to mail it back, but they returned my call within minutes and kindly told us to keep it at no charge. It was such a thoughtful gesture. Now our girls are excited to flip through it and help plan our trip for next year.

One helpful tip for future guests: there's additional parking on the side of the hotel. We didn't realize it until our second day, so hopefully that helps someone else.

If you're traveling with kids and want a hotel that's exceptionally clean, quiet, walkable, and genuinely family-friendly, The Forum is an excellent choice. Ocean City is one of our favorite family vacation destinations, and this hotel made our trip even more enjoyable. We'll absolutely be staying here again!

Was coming down for a holiday using our American Airlines. Jay and his team gave us the blessing of access to our room early. He even helped us out by changing the type of room we had been given. The staff handed out ice cream one day for everyone around the pool and even gave my five-year-old a finding Nemo toy. The hotel has a great location and Jay is an amazing manager.

the room was updated, clean, and really nice! hotel rooms sometimes can feel lived in and worn in, but this one felt really nice!

Close to beach and boardwalk

Hotel checkin was a bit rocky at first as they couldn’t find my reservation as I was initially filed as someone that already checked in. This was stressful after a long day in the car with the kids and my only reason not to give it 5 stars. Once that got figured out, I appreciated the quickness to resolve. Upon checkin, families received fish stuffed animals for their kids which was nice.

The hotel is incredibly centrally located to the boardwalk, miniature golf and other restaurants. The front desk was very friendly. We liked the room and appreciated having an elevator. Overall, very nice place to stay in OC!

The owners were very accommodating and gave me a first floor room due to my mobility issues. The rooms were modern with no foul smelling carpet. Bathroom was recently remodeled with a great walk in shower.

The staff was so pleasant, the room was amazing, pool was phenomenal

Our stay at the Forum was wonderful. We stayed in the 3 bedroom apartment which was perfect for our family of 8. It was clean, spacious and the beds were comfortable. We had all we needed to cook some meals at home and just relax when not out and about. We enjoyed the pool and the cleanliness of the area. Loved the big umbrellas to duck out of the sun. The gentlemen at the front desk were super friendly and accommodating. We would definitely stay here again!

The stay at the Forum was so relaxing and enjoyable. We stayed here from 7/5 to 7/10 for 5 days. We plan on staying here again when in town. The rooms are well maintained and very clean. They look like they have been updated recently. We loved the comfy beds and updated bathroom with a strong shower head! Both the manager Jay and Kumar at the front desk were always available for us to provide us with assistance. They have ample parking available when we stayed here too. Do yourself a favor and book them over Atlantic across the street so glad I checked the reviews ahead of time! A frantic lady who booked the Atlantic came in complaining about no front desk and no parking at the Atlantic and Jay and Kumar helped her with a last minute reservation and made her day!

We had a convenient room on the first floor right in front of the amazing pool but it was noisy early in the morning. The staff were very nice and helpful and the location was great - a block from the beach and boardwalk. I loved the water pressure/showerhead and the room was clean and newly remodeled!
