Decepcionante por parte de Booking, reserva no existía en el hotel

El chico de recepción nos ayudó varias veces a revisar si podía encontrar la reserva hecha por Booking.com.

Cons:

Ya había leido otras situaciones similares con otros viajeros en los comentarios. Lamentablemente lo confirmé, NO había reserva confirmada por parte de booking con la cadena de Hotel Le Meridien.
Al llegar al hotel, mi reserva simplemente no existía. Al contactar a su servicio de atención, la respuesta del agente fue poco profesional, mencionando que “le meterían un susto al hotel”, en lugar de ofrecer una solución inmediata y efectiva, el susto me lo dieron a mi.
1) La supuesta “gestión” realizada no resolvió el problema; únicamente trasladó las consecuencias al cliente. Inicialmente se me indicó que recibiría un reembolso, no un voucher de descuento condicionado a una futura compra. Me hicieron realizar una nueva reserva de último minuto dentro de su propia plataforma, en un contexto donde los precios ya eran considerablemente más altos precisamente por la urgencia de la situación generada por Booking.com. Si desde un inicio me hubieran informado que únicamente ofrecerían un voucher, habría buscado en otro sitio.
2) Booking.com debe garantizar el servicio que el cliente paga a través de su plataforma. No soy un cliente nuevo; llevo años utilizando sus servicios y jamás había vivido una situación de este nivel.
La compensación ofrecida de 70 USD está completamente fuera de proporción respecto al perjuicio causado, considerando que mis gastos adicionales ascendieron aproximadamente a 400 USD entre transporte y desayunos que originalmente ya estaban incluidos en mi reserva.
3) Resulta inaceptable que, en lugar de recibir información clara y preventiva, su personal hiciera comentarios como que “le darían un susto al hotel” por no encontrar mi reserva, cuando al final quien terminó afectado, preocupado y perjudicado fui yo. Toda la información relacionada con el tipo de pago, la moneda y el supuesto balance en cero debió ser comunicada antes de mi llegada al hotel y no después de haber salido del hotel e incluso del país, además en un idioma distinto al mío.

The reception omid I believe was great, the second day of my visit my girlfriend found someone in our doorway that said worked there, and was scanning some QR code in the door frame, I don’t think that’s cool at all what if she was sleeping inside or whatever the case is, I should be contacted while I’m out if someone has to go into my room I have personal belongings inside
