Hopkins Bay Belize a Muy'Ono Resort

Stayed at the beginning of June with my wife and I. Hopkins Bay Resort was a tranquil experience with the most friendly and helpful staff I’ve experienced. The resort was clean, staff was super friendly, the scenery was incredible. Tranquil waves crashing, great food, and the town was fun to explore with provided bikes. Booked an excursion and that staff was very helpful with helping to meet our requesting with booking and travel to and from the hotel. Highly recommended!! Shout out to the amazing concierge team! 🙌

Loved our stay here. Hopkins is a cute, welcoming town. The resort was amazing the rooms were spacious and the staff was very professional. The Rhum shack had great food and the staff was amazing, they remembered my name the whole trip after only hearing it once. The pools were very nice. The beach wasn’t the best to swim off shore. I would recommend renting a golf cart and going to the other end of Hopkins and trying out restaurants

Repeat visitor to this hotel. Love the property, spacious rooms, great restaurant, great entertainment, beautiful beach and pool and great staff.

This place was like a dream. I'm sad that we have to leave so soon.

Even though it was the rainy season, I had a great time. I enjoyed the pool, walking along the beach collecting seashells with sea creatures in them, all of the food at Rhum Shack tasted so good and they have a lot of mocktails to enjoy. I recommend the Cucumber Lemonade. The staff overall, waking up to ocean sea and sky views, the different birds, iguanas and wish willy. I missed the karaoke show but made it to the Garifuna drum and dance show. The resort was such an experience, and I look forward to returning.

We had a great stay in Belize! The staff was friendly and helpful, and everything was easy to access. The resort was well maintained and made for a relaxing, enjoyable vacation.

From the moment we arrived at the front desk until we sadly had to turn in our keys to leave, everyone was helpful, friendly and professional. Never passed a staff member that we weren’t greeted with a hello and smile. The villa was spotless and slept like a baby every night. Restaurant served delicious food with a great staff. Wilbur and Shaq made the most delicious drinks.
Teo is an excellent manager of this resort. A great example of customer service to his staff. Treats guests and staff like family. Any area that needs help, he pitches in.

What stands out most about our time at Hopkins Bay Resort isn't just the beautiful property…it's the people.

We lost an earring during our stay, and Sergio and Orlando immediately stepped in to help. It may seem like a small thing, but it's those moments that reveal how much a team truly cares. Their kindness, patience, and genuine concern meant so much to us and turned what could have been a stressful situation into a reminder of just how exceptional the service is here.

A special thank you as well to Shaquille, who provided outstanding service throughout our dining experiences. He has that ability to make you feel looked after without ever being overbearing. He always seemed to appear at exactly the right moment, and when we realized the earring was missing, he was quick to help and get the right people involved.

It's often the little things that stay with you long after your time at an resort ends, and the care shown by these team members is something we won't forget. Thank you to the entire Hopkins Bay Resort team for making us feel genuinely welcomed and cared for. Also, we must mention Wilber for making the most delicious mango infused drinks.

First time in Belize. Could not have asked for a better place to stay. The staff was beyond nice and very helpful. Resort was clean and accommodating. Rum Shack had good food. Definitely will come back soon.

I really enjoyed my visit. Everyone was so kind, helpful and friendly. The property itself is gorgeous and inviting. It was my first only booking a portion of a beach house and it was still a top rate experience. The beach is beautiful and cared for daily the bar & food were excellent. I have no complaints and will absolutely return. Next time I will take pictures. I was too busy this time enjoying my stay.

This was my first time to Belize and the country and place were beautiful. The staff went above and beyond and were very friendly. The room was comfortable. The walk to the beach was very short. Could see the ocean from our room. I would definitely stay here again. I felt safe.

I had a great experience at Hopkins Bay Resort! The rooms were clean and spacious, the food was delicious, and the staff was friendly especially Velene at the front desk! She made sure to go out of her way to make us comfortable and ensure that we had a great time! I definitely would visit again because of our stay and visit again just to talk to Velene! 100000/10 would recommend

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Hopkins Bay resort villas. From the first day we arrived, King and other members of the staff went above and beyond to make our week-long stay memorable and relaxing. The rooms were clean, and housekeeping was offered daily. If we needed clean towels or the filtered water refreshed, staff members responded quickly. Office staff and concierge team members were also very helpful. The restaurant offers amazing food and creative cocktails. They even prepared an early morning breakfast and lunch for my husband and son on the day they were going fishing. We enjoyed many trips to the village of Hopkins and enjoyed the beachside restaurants that featured local cuisine and culture. It is close enough to walk or borrow one of the bikes at the resort. This is a beautiful and unique place to visit. I highly recommend it.

We had our Staff Workshop Retreat here at Hopkins Bay, a Muy'Ono Resort on the 15th of May 2026, from the moment we arrived, the hospitality was excellent. At check-in, my group was welcomed with the most beautiful smile and warm hello from their front desk clerk Ms. Sobrena. She was nothing short of pure professionalism and class, explaining to us the resorts policies and room accommodations. Her friendly demeanor and tone immediately set the tone for what I knew would be an amazing weekend.

We also got the pleasure to meet the resorts Manager Mr. Teo, who had a welcoming attitude and being present was all we needed to know we chose the right resort to host our group of twenty (20) persons. thank you, Mr. Teo. Throughout our stay, the resorts staff displayed friendly and genuine care, which all of us appreciated.

We went for work but Hopkins Bay, a Muy'Ono Resort provided us with the most memorable weekend. I highly recommend staying here if there's any family gathering, corporate event or simply a relaxing get away. I PROMISE YOU, YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!
