The staff at Hopkins bay are amazing and always welcoming! This is considered our home away from home it’s our go to place whenever we need to relax after a long weeks work! The staff is amazing, food and drinks spot on! The villas are always clean and cozy! This is definitely a place you’d want to visit !

A beautiful place that we will choose over and over to stay. Beautiful and warm staff specially the ladies at the Reception: Velene and Zamira.

Zimira, Chavis, Adelma,Michelle, Adalma, Manuel. These are the best and greatest people. They treated us like royalty. The best of the best!

We really enjoyed our short stay at Hopkins Bay Resort you will not regret this experience. From the moment we walked in the front receptionist Zamira was extremely professionally and personally. She was patient and selected the right room for our family. Zamira should be an example of how guests should be treated when arriving Belize and she should do all hospitality training across Belize and deserves a raise. The rooms were spacious and the sea view was gorgeous. The amenities were amazing (pool, ocean, bar and food). 10/10 recommend!

I had a fantastic stay at Hopkins Bay Resort and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Hopkins, especially solo travellers.

The location is excellent – just a few steps from the beautiful beach and the Caribbean Sea. It’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy the views.

One of the highlights of my stay was the staff. Every member of the team was friendly, welcoming and genuinely helpful. Travelling alone, it’s important to feel comfortable and safe, and the staff went out of their way to make me feel at home from the moment I arrived. Their warm Belizean hospitality really made my trip special.

The accommodation was spacious, clean and comfortable, with everything I needed for an enjoyable stay. It was well maintained and provided all the amenities you could want for a relaxing holiday.

I also really enjoyed the restaurant - Rum Shack. There was an excellent selection of food and drinks, with daily specials that gave plenty of variety throughout my stay. Everything I tried was delicious, and very good value for money.

The only downside was one day of exceptionally heavy rainfall, which caused significant flooding around the resort. The water outside my villa became knee-high, meaning I couldn’t leave my accommodation for a while. While this was obviously inconvenient, it was completely beyond the resort’s control. What impressed me was how the staff responded – they kindly delivered both dinner and breakfast to my villa so I didn’t go without, which was greatly appreciated.

Overall, despite the weather, I had a wonderful stay. The outstanding service, excellent location, comfortable accommodation and great food more than made up for one day of tropical rain. I would definitely stay at Hopkins Bay Resort again and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beachfront stay in Belize.

We’ve been coming to Hopkins Bay resort for a few years now and the amazing staff has always ensured that our stay is five star levels. Veleen and staff even accommodated my elderly mom and had a ramp all ready to go to make for an easier and enjoyable family trip. We will most definitely be returning in the near future as the food, staff and accommodations are always outstanding and in some ways has become our home away from home. We highly recommend this resort for couples and families alike.

Just returned from my 3rd stay at Hopkins Bay. The Villas, staff, and food were amazing as I have learned to anticipate. Mrs. Veleen always makes us feel as if we are a priority, and makes sure my family has an awesome stay. See you guys next year

The people who work at the resort are the best of the best. They make your vacation so much fun and service is impeccable. The room was very clean and the beds are comfortable. I have stayed here before because the price is reasonable..especially with 2 pools. Nice quiet location very relaxing. 😊

We went snorkeling with the Muy Ono Resort team and could not have had a better time. We had some family members who had not been snorkeling off a reef and the dive team
of Marisha and Rafael were the best in providing instructions and serving as our dive masters. We went to Thatch Cay by boat and used that island as our base. The snorkeling was some of the best I have done. I recommend this activity with the Muy Ono Adventure team and thank you to our Adventure guide Tio. boat driver Jerold and First Mate. We were in excellent

Amazing!!!

WE LOVED EVERY MINUTE OF OUR TIME!

The accommodations were gorgeous. My family and I booked a two-bedroom/two-bath suite, and it was huge. More than enough space for our family. We had beautiful views of the pool and beach from our deck. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily.

The pools were great. Each pool has a shallow section that is perfect for our younger kids. Space also had games like volleyball and corn hole available.

The beach was pretty but overtaken by Sargassum (algae), which made swimming in the saltwater impossible. The resort offers free paddle boards and kayaks, which we did take advantage of. They offer daily excursions - but honestly, you can book any of the excursions on your own with other tour companies and pay a lot less.

The restaurant was fine. Breakfast was convenient in the mornings, but found many better options for lunch/dinner when exploring Hopkins.

Hopkins is a beautiful little coastal community, and it is worth taking advantage of the bikes or golf carts to explore the many shops and restaurants. Driftwood, Maximo's, Ella's Cool Spot, Nice Cream, Black Orchid Ice Cream, Garimaya Gift Shop, Roast Coffee Shop.

We had a few rainy days and had some cancelled excursions. The employees at the resort were so helpful in rescheduling excursions and did everything they could to make our stay fun. Wilbur, the bartender at Rumahack is the absolute best. Also, If you’re not feeling well, Chavis will make you a nice concoction to make you feel better. Besides the resort itself, the locals were so nice and made us feel welcome in their hope. Can’t wait to come back.

Hopkins Bay Resort is like going to stay with family. From the front desk staff to the bartenders King and company. I throughly enjoyed my stay. I had a room with kitchen so we were able to cook and fellowship with local family. My grandson and I stay here every single time. He is 2 and had his 1st bday here and it was amazing

From the moment we arrived to the time we checked out our experience was awesome..Velene made sure that our Villa was well prepared..also the front desk receptionist Zamira was very professional and explained everything to us that we needed to know before going into our room..from the security to the bartenders and waitresses..they all were professional...alos, while having breakfast before checking out we got a visit from the manager Teo who was extremely friendly.
