If you’re lucky enough to get a quiet room, this is a great hotel. If not, don’t expect a good night
Pros:

Nice rooftop pool with great food and drinks, and the service was good. The view from our room overlooking the old church was beautiful, and the balcony was a lovely place to spend the evening.

Cons:

Our room was very noisy. Some sort of water pump went off every five minutes, and the bathroom lights kept making a strange electrical buzzing noise, so we couldn’t get a good night’s sleep. I reported the noise to reception, but the staff member simply explained the source of it rather than offering a solution.

Wonderful staff and food at the AX Palace
Pros:

The staff were simply superb throughout our 10 day stay. The could not have been more attentive or friendly. Clearly excellent hiring/training standards. We are in most of the hotel’s restaurants and bars and the food was outstanding. Breakfast buffet was probably the best quality I’ve encountered. Rooms were extremely comfy with the biggest bed I’ve ever slept on! Prices for meals were really reasonable for the quality - particularly the sushi night at Temptasian.

Super śniadania, w pokoju wszystko co potrzeba nawet deska do prasowania i żelasko. Przestronna łazienka wanna plus osobno prysznic. Dużo miejsca na kosmetyki.

Cons:

Na trzecim piętrze, gdzie miałam pokój w korytarzu brudna wykładzina o stęchłym zapachu, zdecydowanie psuła wrażenie.

The place was immaculately clean with staff that always had a pleasant smile. Nothing was too much trouble for them. The room and balcony were perfect, very spacious with lots of amenities. The breakfast was good with lots of choice and variety.

Cons:

The rooftop pool was smaller than it appeared to be on the photographs and the indoor pool was closed due to remodelling.

Quality hotel in Sliema
Pros:

The room was huge, bigger than the photos did justice to and really helped with the kids' stuff. Staff were also very friendly and kind, helping us whenever we needed it with a smile on their faces.

Cons:

Access to drinking water could be better, the bar would fill water but a water fountain would make it easier to self serve
