Disappointing
Pros:

In a nice location

Cons:

Rooms need a bit of updating. Only one electrical socket which was on the dressing table. None by the bed.
Would also be nice to be provided with some complementary bottled water.
No phones in the bedroom to contact reception etc
Accomodation overnight with breakfast for this place is £300+
Receptionist, although pleasant, didn’t seem very knowledgeable about the hotel. We were able to speak to Hotel manager Alison who was very helpful.



Breakfast was pretty poor. Lack of selection. Coffee and tea stored in flasks. Very unpleasant.

It's ok but nothing special
Pros:

Comfortable bed, beautiful surroundings, restaurant staff were brilliant

Cons:

No USB ports, room smelled musty. Food wasn't too good especially the breakfast which if you don't eat sausages and bacon there is very little. No pots of yogurt, minimal fruit very uninspiring. Drinks are very expensive £5.40 for coffee. T ng e swimming pool was full of kids and there's no jacuzzi.

Nightmare
Pros:

Nothing you cancelled our booking on the day we travelled because you had overbooked, and the alternative accommodation provided ( Hill Valley)was not suitable due to being infested with ants. We then found another hotel nearby but the whole experience was not good.

Disappointing
Cons:

My trout was overcooked & the peas rock hard

Breakfast was really poor, no proper coffee machine, only bread or croissants (just two), only marmalade no jam, only some dry watermelon, no other fruit, this was at 8am, not at the end of breakfast service. My table was sticky & the cutlery dirty.

The future throughout the hotel was very 'tired' looking, even the chairs in reception, not the best first impression.

I was given an accessibility room, which had a shower in a bath and very low hot water pressure, so was disappointing

Cons:

Leftover water in fridge on arrival. Large crack in ceiling above the shower. The door had obviously been broken into and a chain lock placed on it? Frame no painted, only accommodated for 2 when booked for 3 people

Pros:

Clean attractive interior and rooms bed very comfortable. Excellent breakfast staff pleasant and helpful.

Cons:

Signage at night on arrival is dreadful. 5 mins driving round carpark looking for reception. Not what you want at 10pm when you left home at 6am!
