Piscine superbe et propre.
Le beau bâtiment mis en avant sur l’annonce n’est pas du tout l’hôtel . Il s’agit du club house du golf qui n’est pas localisé à cet endroit. L’architecture de l’hôtel nous a fortement déçue car elle est très différente de celle du club house qui laisse imaginer un standing supérieur .
The rooms were lovely and cosy and the breakfast was great. A particular receptionist called Joe was really accommodating and Friday he’s a real asset to the team.

For this price range, there wasn't even bottled water in the room, not enough sockets, and no conditioner or body cream
Hotel had some great countryside views and short walks. Room was great.
Breakfast was not as good as other hotels of similar star quality.
Room and bathroom were clean. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Bedroom generous size. Location lovely. Bean bags outside were comfortable and a novelty..
Minimal staff but when located they seemed disinterested. Reception unmanned the whole time we were there and no call bell. Apart from when we arrived we had to go looking for staff. Ants all over the preserves at breakfast. When quietly mentioned to the waitress she said management were aware!! Why not keep preserves elsewhere and bring to each table on request? Checked out before using the pool as we were told we could use the pool until midday but we then had no ability to use the lockers without a big hoohah trying to obtain a non-room key. Only one private change space which had no seating. Paint majorly peeling from the pool ceiling and certain places around the pool.

The room was very big, The bed was huge and the shower was great. The room was also quite cool thanks to the heavy curtains which was a god send at the moment. Plenty of space for the dog. The staff were well turned out and very professional.
We have stayed many times before, both with and without our dog. When we have the dog we sit in the bar area for breakfast. Due to low occupancy this time, breakfast wasn`t a buffet, but table service. Both mornings of our stay, the staff were good, but the food wasn`t up to the usual standard. The first day it took a while to arrive and had obviously been sat ready under the heat lamp. The second morning, the bacon was rubbery and very poor. It won`t stop us from staying again, but you expect better from a four star hotel.
