Breakfast was good with a variety of choices.
Jack in the car was brilliant. Friendly knowledgeable and professional. Again Richard on reception was professional and provided relevant information.
stayed for bed and breakfast. The breakfast was large and varied.
food and wine was lovely but expensive. We could have had a bar meal but it would not have then been a special treat. Could you have two dinning rooms for al a carte and bar meal type food. You have two seperate areas in the restaurant - not further cost to the hotel. Many people went to the pub in the village due to the cost this could have been spent int the hotel.

Great house in a beautiful location. Friendly and helpful personnel. Properly working aircon. Very good Bar food. Easy car parking.
Nothing essential.
Would you believe a UK hotel unable to provide marmalade for breakfast, two days running..
Apart from that it was very good.
There were no visible public toilets downstairs near the bar and restaurant.
There was a lack of information about meals and pricing.
The facilities were excellent, and the spa, although small, was uncrowded, very clean and relaxing. The food in the restaurant was outstanding, and the hotel itself is in a lovely, peaceful location that made our stay feel especially relaxing.
The staff were warm, professional and attentive throughout, and nothing ever felt like too much trouble. A particularly thoughtful touch was the gift bag with food and drinks for our journey when we left, which we really appreciated.
Overall, it felt like a truly high-quality experience. We would happily return and have already recommended the hotel to friends.
Nothing
The hotel is beautifully situated, with several walking routes possible though the surrounding countryside. It is extremely comfortable and the rooms are of a high standard. The staff are every helpful and friendly and breakfast is excellent.
Beautiful building in a beautiful location. Beautiful bedrooms too
It was a very hot day and we struggled to cool the room down.
The staff were friendly and professional.
Beautiful views
Great spa facilities
The hotel is very peaceful and grand, and the staff were all friendly and welcoming. It was perfect for a relaxing weekend away and our classic room was very spacious and comfortable.
Food including bar menu and breakfast were delicious, and they gave us a goody bag of snacks upon check out which was a nice touch.
The spa was very calming and we enjoyed the facilities (pool, hot tub, sauna). Everywhere was very clean and there were plenty of towels available and well equipped locker rooms including bags for wet costumes etc.
Location, spa, food, excellent friendly staff and peace and quiet
Would of been nice to have robes in our room and a light in the cupboard where the kettle and cups were positioned
Beautiful luxury hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Room was very clean and comfortable. Decorated to a very high standard. Very spacious with king size bed. Fridge in room was a bonus. Great selection of tea and coffee in room. Luxury toiletries. Great information about the history of the hotel. Laminated walking routes appreciated. Nice bar and lounge area. Breakfast was first class. Really well looked after by all the staff
Found it a little dark in the room. No central lighting. A little hard to read in such dim light. This was just my personal taste
The location was lovely, quiet and lovely Outlook.
The breakfast was ok, good choice.
Friendly staff.
The spa although small was lovely and clean.
The hotel room was very nice.
The breakfast wasn't anything different to a average hotel.
The plates were cold.
The breakfast was ok, I wasn't expecting to serve myself, especially with the cost for individual breakfast.
Also we had service at dinner, so I was expecting the same.
The milk in the bedroom wasn't very nice, I like a good cuppa, as Yorkshire.
There is a mini fridge, so maybe a small bottle of milk would be nice.
It would be nice to have a little more information on arrival, the front desk staff member was pleasant, he didn't give any information on times of breakfast, where it would be, he didn't tell us anything about the spa, I had to ask all the questions.
Another staff member was much more informative, he took us to see the spa.
The staff were really warm , welcoming and attentive
Very cramped ladies changing room for the pool and rust on the bench let it down slightly
We absolutely loved the building and the views of the rolling fields are just breathtakingly beautiful.
The staff were absolutely fabulous and couldn't have been any better.
Every single staff member was impeccable and professional without being stuffy or cold.
The food was outstanding and the room was lovely.
The massage was excellent.
The entire experience was excellent.
Many thanks to everyone who made our stay a memorable mini break.
👌☺️
Picturesque hotel, modern touches to a classic look. Its not a huge place but its nice. The view outside is very nice, its quiet and peaceful.
The staff are friendly and helpful, food is very nice. The afternoon tea was very nice and I'd highly recommend it.
The spa facilities are clean and welcoming, the pool was a little cold but the jacuzzi and steam room are plenty to warm you up.
Service was a little slow on occasion but I think they were running less staff due to it being a little less busy.
Very clean and all the staff were so friendly and helpful
