Location was super. We walked to restaurants for dinner and evening entertainment.
We were on the street side and the motorcycles were noisy for much of the evening

The room (206) was spectacular! Huge spaces. The location is excellent.
My wife and I spent two nights at this hotel as part of a fly-drive vacation in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island and Newfoundland.
Our room was comfortable and spacious overlooking the waterfront with all of the amenities we needed, although we were a little unnerved by a big air conditioning outlet positioned in the ceiling directly above the pillows on our bed!
A continental breakfast was provided but we thought this was disappointing with a limited choice of items and no hot food.
The hotel is conveniently located overlooking the waterfront and with good access to all the shops, bars and restaurants which are all within walking distance.
Car Parking was available at the front of the hotel.
A comfortable and convenient choice for a few nights stay in St John’s.

Location can't be beat for downtown. The beds were super comfortable. AC was quiet so easy to sleep with it on.
The rooms on 4th floor where we were (in the same building as the lobby) don't have elevator access past 3rd floor and if you're tall...well, expect to bang your head as you are in the roof with very little walking room between the bottom of the bed and the roof pitch.

Large room and bathroom with the king bed. Location right in downtown for easy walking to restaurants. Convenient hours for the continental breakfast. Free parking right outside the front door.
When we pulled back the bedcovers there was a Kleenex under the top sheet. Towel warmer wasnt working very well.
I loved everything about this place, the location, the history, and the staff. Everything you need is within walking distance of the hotel. The rooms are unique and I highly recommend the Signature King Suite.
There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like, we enjoyed everything about this place.

Location was amazing and the room was super comfortable. At first I worried I might be bothered by the carpeting as I have allergies but there was no off-odour from them. We were on the top floor and were able to open the window when we wanted.
I have a severe egg allergy and I’m lactose intolerant so there weren’t many options. Lactose Free Yogurt would have been great as would a dairy free option to pour over the oatmeal provided. A variety of herbal teas beyond peppermint and ginger would be lovely (camomile😊).

Room floors were slanted and uneven ( felt like we were sleeping uphill
Location was GREAT! We walked to restaurants over our two day stay. Staff was friendly. Room was nice. Bathroom exquisite. However, shower knobs not working well and room temperature could not be regulated. Left sign on door for clean up at 9 am , when we returned at 4 it still was not done.
We loved the history of the building. Our room was comfortable and the location of the hotel was perfect for exploring St. John’s on foot.
Staff was great and loved the look and cleanliness of the place and location was perfect for our plans for the day and night
Bed wasn't the best for comfort and would rather a hot breakfast for the price I payed
