I love Virginia Beach and will go back, but will choose another hotel
Pros:

Kitchenette, view, furnishings, color, convenience, proximity to wonderful beach, friendly staff

Cons:

Loud ice machine outside my door, dirty fridge door, sticky floor and surfaces, toilet backed up twice. price leaped up 20% when we checked in for some reason, loud speaker tent under my window

Very uncomfortable and the staff was completely unresponsive to my complaints

The room was awful but it had a great ocean view off of the balcony

Cons:

The room had an awful smell like a pesticide had been used
It affected our breathing. We had to leave the ocean side door open just to breath and we both came home with respiratory problems.
They were supposed to provide a comfortable chair which they claimed that you didn't request.
The pool had a dangerous step leading into the water. I took one step down and slipped and fell down the steps into the pool injuring my leg and hip. There were.no witnesses so I have no remorse

Disappointed
Pros:

Location is pretty good. Quiet area at the end of that area. Vending machines and ice machine worked good.

Cons:

An older hotel and it shows. Needs updated bad. Bathrooms are small. Luggage carts are about to fall apart. Small outside pool could use a good cleaning. Wasn't fond of the separator out on the balcony instead of a real wall from the room next door. Definitely not worth the price we paid for our room....

Pros:

View from the room was excellent. The facility is easily accessible.

Cons:

The hotel is showing its age. The air conditioner in the room was loud. The pillows on the beds were small square pillows.

Beautiful view and super friendly staff, but not clean or very comfortable.

The location, the staff was so friendly, the ocean view was beautiful.

Cons:

We had to ask for new sheets and towels upon arrival. Ours had hairs all in them…. Then when we asked for new towels those had hairs in them as well. So I ordered some from target to use my own.. also the AC never got below 75 and it was so warm in our room.

It was ok I had stay in better places.
Pros:

The view was amazing and hot tub was nice.

Cons:

The balcony was little and AC never turned off even with the balcony door open so it was extremely cold unless you turned it off completely. We had a very hard time getting towels and wash clothes during our stay. I went to front desk they said they would take a note a called down to front desk they said they would have maintenance bring them and they never did. I’m also skin sensitive to certain stuff and I ended up with a rash on my legs from this stay from the linen. That normally happens when cheap detergent is used to wash linens with.

The stay was ok, but would not return to this property
Pros:

Staff was awesome, location was good

Cons:

Property is kinda run down, did not look like the pics. When initially walking in room, I was disappointed. Kitchen, not real clean, and was not fully equipped.

Pros:

Room 428 where you have to slam the door to get it to latch. Where the room stays at 76 degrees despite the fact you have it set at 62. Had Shawn not provided dis without a box fan it would have been unbearable. We knew it was an older facility and expected older decor. We however expected hvac to be from the recent past. As a side note the room was spotless we could smell the bleach being used to clean. We always wipe EVERY switch handle and flat surface with Clorox wipes before we open anything. We found no dirt except behind the bathroom door. We will never be back but not because the hotel. It is the nonstop flyovers.

Cons:

Better parking, enforcement of the state law for handicap parking, an air conditioner that discharges below 68 because at 68 it will NOT cool a room, more than 2 elevators
