Expect a good three star hotel
Pros:

Very good location - close to city center. Very friendly employees - and good restaurant.

Cons:

There could have been cleaner in the restaurant area.
Bathing in the bathtub/shower is dangerous - be careful not too fall (as I did)

L’emplacement de l’hôtel à Galway

Cons:

La salle de bain - pas de meuble pour poser nos affaires - baignoire encrassée / tachée - le bruit de soufflerie / chaudière intempestif toute la nuit - le parking souterrain inadapté et pas de signalement pour indiquer qu’il est complet, demi-tour compliqué - le supplément à payer pour le petit déjeuner - machine à pancake défectueuse

Looking forward to our next stay at this sophisticated but comfortable hotel in the heart of Galway!
Pros:

We loved the Western Hotel. It felt both traditional and modern. The rooms were very comfortable and large. The lobby was so lovely and inviting. We enjoyed both breakfast as well as cocktails at the bar. All staff were so accommodating and kind. The location was great. A quick walk to Eyre Sq but enough distance that it was quiet.

I would absolutely stay at the Western next time I’m in Galway.

Loud and tiny
Pros:

Good location, nice reception, clean.

Cons:

Street noise was ridiculous, kept awake very late. Tiny room, tiny bed, tiny bathroom and shower. No air conditioner- could not leave window open due to street noise although window did nothing to help with sound. Car park hard to find and tiny.

Great location, excellent hotel.
Pros:

Location excellent, room was fantastic, very comfortable bed and bathroom was superb.
Underground car parking was very good and easy to navigate, breakfast was superb.

A comfortable hotel for enjoying Galway.
Pros:

The hotel was comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The location is a nice balance between being close to the walking streets, but also removed enough to drive to easily. Being able to park a vehicle was an important amenity.

Cons:

The only slight discomfort was the distance between the toilet and the shower in our bathroom. There was very little legroom. It was an unfortunate design decision.

Готель розташований в 3 хвилинах ходьби до центру міста. Це величезний плюс. Виходиш з номера, і за три хвилини відчуваєш атмосферу ірландських пабів;)
Присутній безкоштовний підземний паркінг. Обслуговування на вищому рівні. Кімната дуже чиста, все необхідне присутнє.

Pros:

Great location, close to the centre of Galway. Breakfast was good and reasonable, in particular the full Irish. Thought the staff were super helpful and friendly (as were all the locals in Galway!).
