Pros:

The room was clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. Breakfast was included, which was a great bonus. There were plenty of options—you could help yourself to a continental breakfast or choose from a menu and have a freshly prepared meal served to you.

The hotel itself is beautiful, well-maintained, and spotless. The restaurant was also lovely, with a great atmosphere and excellent cleanliness.

Overall, the hotel’s location, cleanliness, and overall experience were excellent, and we would definitely recommend staying here.

Cons:

For future improvement, I would like to share some feedback about the customer service experience.

While the hotel itself was beautiful, clean, and well\-maintained, we found that many of the staff members, particularly in the restaurant, were not as warm or engaging as we had expected.. Interactions were generally very brief, with little conversation, few smiles, and minimal greetings or expressions of thanks. Service was efficient, but it often felt impersonal.

The exception was the receptionist who I believe was from Canada\. She was welcoming, friendly, and made us feel genuinely valued as guests\. Her positive attitude stood out and reflected the level of hospitality we had hoped to experience throughout our stay\.

As visitors from Canada, we had expected a more personable and engaging experience, particularly given Ireland’s reputation for its warm hospitality\. A friendlier, more conversational approach from staff would make an already beautiful hotel even more memorable for guests.

We also enjoyed the live entertainment on two evenings. One night featured instrumental music, and the other featured a solo singer. While both performers were talented, we had hoped to hear some traditional Irish music, as it would have added to the authentic experience of visiting Ireland.

Preço acima do que oferece.
Pros:

Rundum gelungen.

Central hotel with period features
Pros:

Beautiful hotel, a couple of minutes from Eyre Square, 5/10 minutes from the Latin Quarter. Friendly reception and bar staff. Happy with the family room, shared by three adults. Free parking helpful.
I was less impressed with breakfast. I ordered scrambled eggs and mushrooms. While tasty, the 'scrambled' eggs were like a chopped up omelette, mushrooms weren't hot. Bowls from cereal weren't removed and staff never returned to see if everything was ok or if we needed anything else.
A couple sat at a table and were told by staff that they'd already started to set it for lunch. Having made them feel a little uncomfortable, they then conceded to let them sit there anyway. Given breakfast wasn't over, and lunch more than an hour off, it seems staff convenience was prioritised over customer service.
However, happy to recommend and would stay again.

Pros:
