My New Go-To Hotel in Montreal
Pros:

I had an excellent stay at the Embassy Suites in Montreal. The suite was very spacious, exceptionally clean, and felt almost newly renovated. The bed was extremely comfortable, which made for a very restful stay.

The location is outstanding. It is right in the heart of Old Montreal and within easy walking distance of the Old Port, Old Montreal’s main attractions, and downtown Montreal. The breakfast was also great and a wonderful way to start the day.

Highly recommended!

A bit overpriced.
Pros:

Everything was good.

Cons:

Room is cozy but HVAC is pretty noisy.
Elevators are outdated but pretty fast and both functional.
Breakfast was good but missing vegetables.

Okay but pricey
Pros:

Breakfast and happy hour were fine. Hotel was quite expensive so this helped a bit however if I were staying in Montreal for any length of time with my family I would not stay here. Felt like it was more designed for business people rather than people travelling.

Cons:

Check in took quite a while.

Pros:

Расположение. Вечером можно получить велком дринк и снеки в баре.

Cons:

Проживали втроем в номере с кухней. Есть посудомоечная машина и большая мойка, а посуды нет совсем никакой. Из всей посуды были два стакана и две бутылки воды на троих, мы попросили принести еще один стакан и одну бутылку воды. Вместо стакана принесли керамическую кружку и одну столовую ложку на троих…Третью бутылку сказали купить на ресепшен за 1 доллар. После претензий с нашей стороны бутылку все же принесли бесплатно. Для нас дело не оплате, а в подходе к клиентам. Потом нам сказали, что посуду можно было попросить на ресепшен, но после двухчамового ожидания одной кружки и одной столовой ложки просить что-то совсем не хотелось.
Самая большая неприятность произошла с депозитом. По определенным обстоятельствам мы заплатили депозит наличными. При выезде на ресепшен нам сказали, что нашей суммы нет в наличии к возврату в полном объеме и часть могут вернуть только на карту. Получается, что отель берет наличные, тратит их на другие неуелевые (депозит) нужды или просто теряет их. Непонятно. Нам сказали, что НАШ депозит-это НЕ НАШИ деньги!!!! То есть гарантии, что вам отдадут ваши наличные нет. Потом часть суммы нам вернули на карту, но мы испытали очень большой стресс прямо перед рейсом.
В номере в ванной при открывании ящика с феном отпала панель тумбы под раковиной и повредила мне ногу.

We would choose Embassy Suites by Hilton again.
Pros:

The King suite was roomy, clean, practical and cosy. We liked having a decent fridge, a lounge area, the large bathroom with walk-in shower. Towels were changed regularly and housekeeping was very good. While we visited, each guest was given vouchers for 2 free drinks during happy hour which was great. Breakfast was adequate.

Cons:

The TV software needs updating - whenever we switched off the lounge TV, the one in the bedroom came on.

Excellent fun stay
Pros:

Amazing! From the minute we checked in to check-out everything was seamless Front desk helped with my many questions, parking was below the hotel and very east to enter and exit. Parking was $35 USD, very reasonable. They only had a 2nd floor room but it was beautiful, quiet and easy to use the stairs when the elevator was crowded. Clean room, kitchen, bathroom and living area were spacious and neat and clean. Free breakfast was great before 8 am, after that the lines were out the door for the omelet station. It moved fast . Evening cocktails was so fun! Kudos to Catherine, Tracy and Bernie! Great fun staff! Perfect stay, thank you

Sweet Suites
Pros:

The room was very nice and clean and we also liked the breakfast and we thought it was cool that they gave us 2 drinks each for happy hour. The front desk and the concerige Miguel were very nice!

Cons:

We hated our view. It was of the alley and we kept seeing homeless people going through the garbages. We saw a few rats which I guess is sum what normal near the garbage, but still gross. The construction started way too early and it echoed through the windows.
