The staff, the service and the location

We really enjoyed our stay, the room was clean, had beautiful views over the bay of Naples and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is about a 15 minutes drive from Sorrento and is in a much quieter and peaceful area near a village that has some lovely restaurants. A great base to explore Sorrento, Amalfi coast and Pompeii etc.

Another perfect visit to this wonderful family run hotel
The Hotel is all you would expect of an Italian hotel the staff and management team are it’s strong point , polite attentive and professional they ensure your stay is all you want.
The rooms are kept spotless by the excellent housekeeping team, the food is good and the bar and restaurant managed by our particular friend Salvatore
Gennaro will offer calorie free desserts (he assures us) while Roberta and our very good friend Tony will deliver the drinks in the bar try the lemonchello sprits it knock out (literally)
A big thank you to William our Host , Gloria so helpful advising and arranging trips and of course Renato again arranging and advising but also so approachable and visible in all areas making sure everything is fine and people are happy and of course all the excellent staff.
We have been many times to this great hotel it retains its heart and spirt as it develops and improves something the extraordinary number of return guest really appreciate.

Another wonderful holiday at this wonderful hotel. We were sorry to leave and hope/plan to return next year for what is probably or seventh visit! We love the staff, the welcome the food the views the proximity to the village of Sant Agata.There are wonderful walks close by,in short perfection!!

Un'esperienza davvero confortevole. La camera con affaccio sul mare regalava un panorama straordinario. Comoda piscina. Nota di merito anche per la comodità del parcheggio e per il personale, incredibilmente gentile, premuroso e pronto a soddisfare ogni richiesta. Colazione abbondante sia dolce che salata con frutta fresca.

Die Lage und der Ausblick sind grandios! Die Zimmer sind geräumig und auch vom Balkon hat man einen schönen Blick auf Sorrent. Das Personal an der Rezeption ist außerordentlich freundlich und hilfsbereit! Der Pool ist schön und erfrischend.
Super war auch der kostenfreie Shuttle-Service in die Stadt!

Had the most amazing time at this hotel, rooms were beautiful and the view of Mount Vesuivius was breathtaking. The area has so much to see, but we just loved being in this hotel so much that we just didnt get round everything. Tony absolutely made our stay, what an amazing waiter we couldn't ask for anymore. Unfortunately Tony wasnt working our last day, but he had asked earlier in the holiday if we were married.. I said no... but if somebody could please let Tony know that Marco and Emma got engaged that night, that would be amazing. We will be back to this hotel time and time again, it has stolen our hearts. Love Emma and Marco.💕💕

Just returned from a 2 week stay at the Grand Hotel Hermitage and i can honestly say we have thoroughly enjoyed every minute. We stayed in the main building (there is also a seperate villa with more rooms available but it is up a bit of a steep slope which i struggled to get up but i had a couple of stops on the way up and down and i managed it every day).
The highlights were the staff. The food, the cleanliness,the pool, the village less than a 10 minute walk away.
There are a few tweeks i would like such as a sofa in the bedrooms for relaxing and watching tv, the pool needs a bit of maintenance but nothing major. Padded sun loungers would be a bonus. But these are little things. Overall we had a fantastic holidsy enjoying our wedding anniversary and birthdays for my husband (21+) and my 60th birthday made all thd more special by Ronato, Salvatori, Marcus,Tony, Roberta and all the staff. Grazzie Mille to all of you. Love you lots. Cant wait for our next visit xx

Ein wirklich wunderschönes urig italienisches Hotel in den Bergen oberhalb Sorrents.
Das Zimmer und die Aussicht waren wirklich ein Traum! Auch sehr bequeme Betten, kleiner Wasserkocher war vorhanden, ein schöner Balkon.
Das Frühstücksbuffet war zwar nicht übermäßig groß aber für uns ausreichend, man konnte auch draußen frühstücken.
Es fährt mehrmals täglich ein Shuttle nach Sorrent, das ist sehr praktisch denn eine Taxifahrt kostet sonst ungefähr 55-60€ pro Fahrt!
Das Personal an der Rezeption war super freundlich und bemüht.

We stayed here last year. This hotel is amazing. The staff could not be more helpful. The food was plentiful (actually - the portion sizes are a little on the large size), and the facilities (including the free shuttle-bus to Sorrento) are first class.

We had two rooms in the Villa. They were first class too - and handy as it’s a quick walk to nearby Santa Aguta.

If I were to visit again I would not hesitate to stay here.

We have stayed in S’ant Agata many times but never at this hotel and only chose it for this trip as we were unable to get into our usual choice….. what a pleasant surprise we had!

The hotel is positioned in a lovely spot with a nice Italian family feel and a great pool area. We stayed half board and the food was delicious and varied. The staff are the best asset this hotel has ….first class….Renato is a great manger and the other staff are brilliant ( special mention to Marco in the restaurant, the chap driving the shuttle bus and Ariana who kept our room lonely and clean )

We will most definitely be back and hopefully this year for a second time!

We have been staying at this hotel for the past six days. We will be sorry to be going home tomorrow. It's a wonderful hotel, with extremely friendly staff throughout the hotel. They can't do enough for their guests and always eager to please. The table service in the restaurant is very professional and the food is delicious. It's top class nosh! We have been staying in room 303, which was kept spotless by the maids and the view is fabulous. The pool area is always pristine and the waiter service amazing. Thanks to Luigi (napoli tattoo) , Ronata (the manager, who walked around all areas of the hotel, chatting to guests, making sure we were all happy). Gloria on reception (our first point of contact with the staff, she is delightful). Salvador (Saviour, the restaurant and pool bar manager, brilliant personality). William, Tony (tall lad, my favourite waiter) and the other Tony. Marco. The sweet trolley waiter (forgot his name, Eugene?) and all the other staff. (Excuse any wrong name spelling) You made our holiday so amazing and we will definitely be back again. All the best from Mary and Peter Stewart.

El hotel esta en lo alto de Sorrento, a 13' o asi en coche, se aparca facil, y el hotel tiene tambien una lanzadera que va cada hora creo al centro, sino tambien pasa un autobus local justo enfrente.
El personal fue muy amable y simpatico, la habitacion gran y comoda y todo muy limpio.
El desayuno tipo buffet correcto

My wife and 2 grown up sons have just returned home from a 1 week stay at The Grand Hotel Hermitage in Sorrento, it was our 3rd time staying there. This time we had a sea view and view of Sorrento. Can recommend room 405 next to top floor. It’s in a great location just above Sorrento. The hotel runs a free shuttle bus every day to and from town. We got a warm welcome from Renato and all other staff what remember us. We had a fantastic time and have just rebooked for next year. Big thanks to Tony and Roberta for looking after us and making it a memorable holiday. First class authentic Italian food and service in a beautiful restaurant with a choice menu. Self service breakfast with plenty fresh fruit. Can’t think of any negatives, we all had a lovely time.

I have just returned from my 2nd visit in 10 years .and I was not disappointed
me and my wife had a great warm and friendly greeting. the minute we arrived. accommodation was great with great views
food and drink where great with great service from a family run hotel
and a big thank you for the management and staff who went out of there way to look after my food and drink allergies of gluten who went out of there way to get me some beer in :)
there was plenty of options at breastfast with gluten free cereal and bread to chose from
and evening meal
and 1 evening they brought me over a gluten free dessert:)
there was always plenty of sun beds to chose from .this is 1 hotel where no rushs down to put out towels. which is great .
just up the road there is a small friendly local town which has a local bar and a couple of family run restaurants which offer great food
we had a great time
and see you all again in a couple of years :)
