Pros:

Room was excellent! Love the Foosball table and balcony! It was also very nice of the staff to split the beds for the other bedroom.

We have stayed here a number of times. The staff a re wonderful and very helpful. Never been dissatisfied

Quirky, needs maintenance. Not ideal if with a car. Staff were great.
Pros:

Staff were excellent.

Cons:

No onsite parking, parking is a fair walk especially with luggage. Rooms showing age and needs maintenance. Getting old, things falling apart. Door had screws coming off. Drawer handle came off. Cleanliness is 6/10.

location was fantastic. very close to the theatre
the staff were very engaging and nothing was too much trouble
the happy hour was a great concept--even although we were only able to take advantage of it on one night of our stay

While our visit ended being quite different to what we had planned, we enjoyed the Laneways.
Pros:

Loved the Midtown themed decor - interesting workable floor plan.
Been to many generic ‘Holiday Inn’ hotel rooms that all feel and look the same and one city soon looks like the next- but we will definitely remember this visit to Melbourne.

Cons:

Would have liked a little more room between the end of the bed and the adjacent wall.
