Wetter war für Mitte September gut und wir konnten viel unternehmen.
Pros:

Das Hotel Walburgishof hatte eine gute Lage. Leider konnten wir unser Zimmer nur über eine Teiltreppe erreichen, was
wir bei der Buchung nicht wußten. Dafür mußten wir durch eine schwere Stahltür. Wir hatten Halbpension, die nicht
besonders ansprechend war. Für 4 Sterne eher sehr reduziert im Angebot und keine Abwechslung. Heißt, es gab immer
das Gleiche. Fisch u. Hühnchen, Pute und Fisch und nochmal Fisch. Im Bad kein Abfalleimer vorhanden und auf dem
Balkon hat auf jeden Fall ein kleiner Tisch gefehlt. Sitzgarnitur im Eingangsbereich sehr abgegriffen und speckig.
Das ist unsere Meinung, andere sehen es vielleicht anders. Wir würden das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.

Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt zentral im Harz, um von dort Ausflüge zu machen.
Pros:

Personal sehr nett, gewünschter laktosefreier Jogurt und Frischkäse standen bereit, Frühstück ansonsten reichhaltig und wohlschmeckend, Schwimmbad neu und sehr sauber, Box-Spring-Bett optimal (so eines kaufen wir jetzt auch für zu Hause), Bad ebenfalls optimal

Cons:

Teppichboden unserer Suite alt und fleckig, Zimmer-Einrichtung teilweise alt (passte gar nicht zu neuem Bett und Bad, als wäre die Renovierung mitten drin gestoppt worden),
Fernseher viel zu klein, um ihn vom Kopfende des Bettes aus nutzen zu können,
Ventilator der fensterlosen Toilette sehr laut
