Ivan and all the staff are brilliant, it is a well kept Hotel, very comftable and clean, which really matters to us, breakfast was also good, we also enjoyed the pool and pool area very much, so nice, just wish we had more time there. Thank you very much Hotel Andrea Doria.
I can't fault anything.
Accueillant et très bon emplacement
Staff very nice.
Pool area is amazing.
Rooms are spacious.
Pool bar is closed in the evening.
Expected a better breakfast. Not very tasty.
Titolare e personale molto cordiale e focalizzato sul cliente: sempre attenti, disponibili e indirizzano molto bene. Letto confortevole e ambiente silenzioso. A presto
Very friendly staff and very quiet location
Ho soggiornato in struttura in compagnia di amici, siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti di tutto
Staff, servizio e soprattutto gentilezza e disponibilità..
A lovely hotel with amazing staff and a great location.
We had a very nice stay at the Andria Doria. It's across the road from the beach and a pleasant 10 minute walk into the centre of town. There's secure free parking at the back of the hotel. The hotel building and the decor is somewhat dated but it was comfortable and clean. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially Ivan who made sure he spoke with all the guests at breakfast every day and made sure everything was OK. Breakfast was very good. The hotel doesn't have a beach but there's a public beach close by (no shade so you'll need an umbrella) and they have an arrangement with the Beach Club across the road where hotel guests get a small discount. The hotel had a nice pool with sufficient sun beds. However when we were there they were re-building the outdoor bar which had been destroyed in the hurricane earlier in the year, so you had to order drinks from reception. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there's lots of good places to eat close by and in town and Marina di Ragusa is very convenient for visiting the many wonderful Sicilian towns in the area.
We had a wonderful stay at Andrea Doria Hotel in Marina di Ragusa and would highly recommend it.
The hotel is situated in a lovely, peaceful private setting, yet it is just a short walk from all the local amenities and directly across the road from the beautiful sandy beach.
Our room was spotlessly clean, and the beds were extremely comfortable with excellent mattresses and pillows, ensuring a great night’s sleep.
Breakfast offered a wide variety of delicious food and drinks, with something to suit everyone.
A special thank you to Ivan, the manager, Stefano at the pool bar for his fantastic cocktails, and the lovely Ludivica for their warm welcome, kindness, and service with a smile throughout our stay. They all made us feel genuinely valued and at home.
Lunch by the pool was outstanding, with a wonderful selection of fresh local fish dishes and delicious pasta.
Andrea Doria Hotel will definitely be our first choice every time we visit Marina di Ragusa. We can’t wait to return!
All in all the hotel was good, good location across the road from the beach. Whilst the breakfast was good, there is space for improvement when it comes to variety. Also on the last day the hotel had no water so we couldn't shower before our travels back home which was disappointing especially in summer, one would imagine that in today's day in age the hotel will have some sort of reservoir. And to top it up there wasn't much of an apology, they just said that its a common occurrence in the area.
