Fabulous grounds in Dromoland Castle which guests from the Rine could use. Very scenic, beautiful .
Pros:

Could have been shower caps, body cream in room or even water.

Cons:

Not a great menu in the bar. I wouldn't call it a gastro pub menu, no steak, not even a steak sandwich on the menu! Bangers and mash on the menu, I wouldn't even eat that at home!

Fantastic break away
Pros:

We had a fantastic stay in the hotel.
Staff were so friendly.
The bar had a lovely outdoor area ,which was great as the weather was amazing.
Food was tasty at the bar. Live music every night we were therr.breakfast was perfect, good choices of foods.miseed having a choice of continental breakfast.
But thats just a personal thing.
Activities for kids was great.
Pool area was excellent especially the spa area.
Rooms were spotless.
Close to motorway .
Highly recommend going to this hotel.

Pros:

Beautiful hotel cosy beds love the bar food fabulous the breakfast buffet is to die for all you can eat swimming pool is great steam room excellent jacuzzi tub is the greatest experience spend a whole hour relaxing in it give this hotel 10 out of 10

Pros:

Being asked to use a QR code to order food is ridiculous, also food is expensive, If I’m going to pay €21.50 for a burger I want to order from a person not my phone. Won’t be back for this reason

Lovely atmosphere and food but service needs improvement.
Pros:

The food was lovely but the service was very poor. The food took a long time to come and it took a good while for the tables to be cleared. It’s a pity since the food is so nice and the atmosphere is lovely.

Pros:

Alles war sehr sauber, das Zimmer war super für 4 Personen geeignet (1 Doppelbett + 2 Einzelbetten) und das Personal sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Es gibt einen Wellnessbereich mit Sauna, Dampfbad, Pool (Achtung: Kinder dürfen nur bis 19 Uhr in diesen Bereich und man benötigt Badehaupen) und Fitnessraum.
Der Gastro Pub war klasse (teilweise mit Lifemusik).

Wir hatten ein feuchtes Zimmer mit Blick auf den Parkplatz in der letzten Ecke des Hotels.
Der Pool war nicht sehr gepflegt.
Das Frühstück war leider auch eher bescheiden.

Some Positives, But Overall Disappointing
Pros:

We recently stayed at the hotel and unfortunately, there were a few things that let the experience down.

The swimming pool was absolutely freezing. My daughter normally loves swimming, but after using it once, she didn’t want to go back the following day because of how cold it was, which was really disappointing.

The rooms are also quite outdated and could definitely do with some modernisation and a refresh.

We found the breakfast disappointing as well. There wasn’t a huge amount of choice and overall, we just didn’t feel it was up to the standard we expected. Dinner, however, was much better and we really enjoyed it.

On a positive note, the kids’ club was lovely and my daughter really enjoyed it, which was definitely a highlight of the stay.

Overall, there were some positives, particularly the kids’ club and dinner, but the freezing swimming pool, dated rooms and disappointing breakfast took away from the overall experience.
