Amazing hotel with great views of Tokyo tower
Pros:

Really good location. Next to Ginza which is a fantastic part of Tokyo.

Cons:

Not loads of facilities (pool, spa etc) but the views, breakfast and rooms make up for that.

Pros:

The staff was incredibly helpful. We had booked the wrong hotel by mistake in the immediately were able to help us rebook into their hotel. We had an amazing stay.

A good hotel that can do better
Pros:

Great location. It is a good hotel that used to be great. Rooms are clean, comfortable but in the smaller spectrum.

Cons:

Seems that they are letting the hotel to deteriorate. Carpets ripped in the aisles..it looks old. The rooms have just out of the mill amenities. Towels are not soft anymore.
The front desk staff does not engage with the clients ..they are there just to do as minimal as needed.
They don’t even help you with your suitcases when you leave.. you are on your own.
The food at the restaurant is good but again not great..

A wonderful staff member saved the hotel from being a disaster for us.
Pros:

The staff, especially Raj on reception were wonderful. He helped us upgrade our room so that our stay would be comfortable as my husband is disabled and the bed arrangements would not work in the standard room.
The location is great.

Cons:

The Mitsui Garden chain are very penny pinching compared to other chains we stayed with during our month in Japan. Breakfasts are extra and not very good and this upset us.

the bar is quite disappointing - the better place for the bar would be in the corner next to the reception. in the current bar, no view to the beautiful city...

Nice location, pleasant staff but the bathroom had a slight odor and the hallway carpets needed a refresh.
