Cons:

Location of hotel near major road junction - some noise.
Difficulty for disabled person walking out of hotel - cars parking blocked entrance, + road excavation nearly blocked entrance on last day - made access difficult.

you had a brilliant time and would highly recommend it
Pros:

We had a corporate event here with an overnight stay and honestly we had the best time ever.

From the moment we arrived, the staff at reception were welcoming, professional, and made us feel instantly looked after. Throughout our stay, every single member of staff went above and beyond — from reception to the restaurant team, everyone was absolutely amazing and made us feel very special.

The service was exceptional, the atmosphere was perfect for our group, and the food was great as well. Everything was well organised and ran smoothly, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable.

We left very happy and would highly recommend this hotel for both corporate events and overnight stays. We will definitely be coming back.

Excellent location near the river and all amenities . We were upgraded to a historic room, which was beautiful with air-conditioning, which was a blessing as it was very hot. Hotel is beautiful. Staff all very helpful. Beautiful breakfast. Very good value for money. Would recommend.

Cons:

Only down side is there is no parking. We parked at the nearest recommended car park. They do clearly state this when booking so unfair to take away anything from this hotel.

Extremely comfy bed, beautiful room, very central, cosy bar, good breakfast.

Cons:

Some might be troubled by road noise as on busy road junction but we found it ok, even with windows open.

Lovely stay excellent staff only the small room was the disappointment
Pros:

We arrived at 11am and our room(s) were ready very early which was great . The rooms were lovely BUT one of the King Rooms was really small and did not compare well to the other same specification room . The staff were really friendly , efficient and helpful .

Cons:

As above one of the rooms was really small in comparison and as family we made comparisons room for room . As I had booked the stay as a gift for 2 sister in laws I didn't want to make a big deal or embarrass either party .

Pros:

Weekend breakfast was not a great experience . The coffee was very poor. the buffet food was tepid and the general atmosphere caotic. Monday was a vast improvement and the coffee machine was used .
Housekeeping let the general excellent room . Only one bath towel, the various shampoos etc were either nempty or the pump did not work. There was no spare toilet roll and the mirror was streaky. While reception did sort the problems but we needed to ask.
