The location was great. Walking distance to the ColonialLife arena.
Location.
Remodelation is loud, dust is everywhere..The fire alarm went off , we had to take the stairs to go downstairs wher no manager approach to tell us that we can return to our rooms or that everything was okay and clear from danger.
The restaurant was open with all that noise and dust, it seems all the hotel and restaurant care is about getting your money.
Beds were old and uncomfortable.
The property was lovely. It was a great location too.

Hotel is very close to the convention center where I was attending a conference. It was very easy to park the car and walk everyday. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking was a good choice for me - about the same cost as other high end hotels ($30/day). Ruth Chris's Steak House was attached for breakfast and dinner.
Nothing - everything was good as was as expected.
Location is good although major construction wreckage going on across street
Breakfast was not good and expensive
Convenient
Construction noise.
It was disgusting, bathtub has rust all over it! Tile
Falling off and cracked
Location to what we were there for
No coffee downstairs, staff at front desk seemed a bit
Agitated at first but then warmed up
Rate was way out of line for the hotel
Location
Hotel under remodel we discovered upon check in. Lobby with tarp in various places, mega AC units blowing air out of ducks.
We had a malfunctioning AC night one (stuck at 76).
Valet was “gone for that night” for the night second night at 9:30pm.
Bathroom was dated and grungy.
Lastly- we stayed 3 nights and never once had our room serviced and we left early and were gone all day. There was no mention or signage stating anything about every other day or as requested etc. We had to request new towels each night that piled up on the floor,
They had no A/C , I was advise they would cancel the reservation ( 2 rooms) since we had to look for another hotel. But they said since it was through booking it had to be initiated by booking. It was done, they never responded, I got charged for 2 rooms that I couldnt use since they AC broke
The Valet service was amazing!
The two young men, Isiah and Carl, were respectful, polite and professional!
I will definitely use the service each time I dine at Ruth’s Chris!
I stayed here for a business trip, and it was amazing. Although they are in the process of renovating, the experience was still top notch. The staff was very friendly and helpful being that I’m not a native. It’s right in the downtown so great food was close by. And the valet service was very amazing, convenient and timely! Overall, i had a great experience!
The rooms were nice and the valet service was amazing! Dom provided professional and friendly service and helped with check-in and check out. Would definitely recommend.
Been staying at this hotel for years for various reasons while in Columbia. When booking, I had NO idea that the lobby and check-in were completely under renovation and closed off. It was an extremely busy week/ weekend with conferences, swim meets, dance competitions, etc. and only one of the three elevators were working. Even laundry staff and construction crew were having to use the one elevator because supposedly the service elevator was also not working. There was literally a line of 10 people waiting on an elevator when we got back from our long day of competitions. (We did use the stairs to exit the property, but there were no stairs to take up to the room.) I have gone out to the pool two years in a row and the set-up is beautiful, but the chemicals/ph must be completely off, as it is extremely cloudy and questionable looking. Last but not least, the last day we asked for more towels and toilet paper. They never came and we reused our damp old towels. Luckily I had flushable wipes when the toilet paper ran out. Years ago, I would have given 5 stars, the last two years 3 based on only location and friendly front staff.
