The view was amazing!

Nearest train station is DLR East of India which you have to go through a dodgy subway to get to this was bad enough during the day but a definite no no after dark

Location. Too expensive for what it is.
The hotel itself was very good overall, and the view was pleasant, so my stay was generally positive. However, one thing I really cannot understand is the lack of plug adapters in the rooms.
This is a Radisson in London, a city that welcomes huge numbers of international travellers, many of whom arrive with devices using different plug types. Given that, I would expect a hotel at this level to either provide adapters in the room or at least make them available to borrow at reception.
Instead, guests are effectively pushed into paying around £15 for an adapter, which feels excessive for such a basic travel necessity. When you are already paying close to £1,000 for a one- or two-night stay, this comes across less as a service issue and more like unnecessary extra charging.
It is a small detail, but one that leaves a surprisingly negative impression because it would be so easy for the hotel to address. For an international business and leisure hotel, complimentary or loan adapters should really be standard.
